Hi there! One interesting fact is that Arabic usually put the verb first in the sentence whereas Turkish or Persian put it at the end. Those three languages are related because of common history but they belong to three different groups ( Semitic, Turkic and Indo-European). So, if an Arab meets a Turk or a Persian, they usually end up speaking English.

Dakika is a minute in Swahili as well. Currently, I have my Italian month (probably will do it for February too) but later I plan on coming back to Turkish which I have barely started. I am also in awe of the Persian language and I have it planned to at least start this year so this video is a perfect motivation! I just realized that Turkish has so many similarities with Persian. I speak Swahili and my tutor recently visited Egypt. He told me about similar words that Swahili shares with Arabic (a discovery for him as he comes from Kenya and as a Christian he did not now any Arabic before). I didn't know it works also with Turkish and Farsi. It makes me beyond excited to study those two languages especially considering the fact I have Arabic planned for the next year if everything will go smoothly. Haha, or for later years. Thank you very much for that video and looking forward to see more!

It was a very enjoyable video with a positive energy. I like these three languages are similar with each other via Arabic loanwords. But it's funny that Persian and Turkish have similar logic of deforming the semantics, morphology and grammar of the same Arabic words then adapting them into their own languages.

This is because Arabic words have gone to Turkish through Persian. Arabic words entered Persian about 1300 years ago with entering Muslims to Iran. In the time of the Seljuk empire (about 900 years ago), word exchanges between Turkish and Persian happened when Persian had already lots of Arabic loan words.

These were some of many similar words that we share, most of them also have one or multiple synonyms in respective language that are totally different which makes them unique. I'll be staying in Antalya for 10 days and plan to go to some of the most notable places in South-Western Türkiye such as Ölüdeniz, Fethiye, Pamukkale, Hierapolis among others. I like middle east as a whole. Cool cultures and people. Ignore xenophobic political groups and the region is quite well. Turkey, Palestine, Arabia, Iraq, Armenia, Iran, even some Israelis (all depending on individual character in my opinion not group origins or group association) are very sweet people with sweet languages and cultures. Ultra nationalistic political hatred stereotype the west projects on the region aside, the region is, as a whole, diverse and cool.

@@vocabestan Farsi (Persian) is like English with In front of the tongue spelling but Arabic is the same way as French with Throat spelling.

Arabic was also influenced by Persian (for example: Istabraq, even exist in Quran) and Turkish (for example: Boya) but not as it influenced the others. that's because Arabic is almost a frozen language (doesn't change quickly over time) most Turkish words in Arabic exist in dialects where Ottoman empire ruled and most Persian words in Arabic exist in Classical Arabic.

When ever we search about top historical languages in the world, Persian (Farsi) becomes in 7th in history but Arabic is in 11the or 10th and Turkey is completely new language and does not have any source to proof as historical language ترکی از عربی و فارسی ساخته شده و فارسی به تنهایی خود یک زبان قدرتمند است تنها چیزی که عربی را به ما مسلمانان با عزت ساخته کتاب الله متعال است

sister you must cover your face properly. your eyebrows should be covered. you must never dye or remove extra hair from your eyebrows. a Muslim woman must not appear on camera and let other men see and hear her voice. even if you are wearing a niqab! your voice is soft and soothing and therefore it is haram for men to hear it.
