It would be really cool if this had moving ears! Aibo has moving ears since dogs move them, and real cats move their ears a lot in the direction of sounds! My cats do it all the time

와우!~ 생각보다 자연스러운 움직임 모두가 좋아하는 하이파이브 꾹꾹이에 음식을 먹는 모습도 잘표현되는 같아요 다른영상을 보니 하악질도 잘하더군요 울음소리도 귀엽고 사이즈도 너무 크지 않아 좋은것 같아요 아직 호기심과 장난기 많은 성장기 고양이 같은 느낌이 드네요 바람이 있다면 표현이 가능 할지는 모르겠지만 뛰쳐 나갈듯 말듯한 사냥자세 고양이 세수나 털을 핧는 그루밍 자세를 취한다면 더욱 좋을 것 같습니다~^^

Will Maicat be as intelligent as Aibo ers-1000?

Probably not - but it will also be a lot cheaper, available in more countries instead of Japan and the US, and they won't charge $300 per year for cloud service.

I have watched the videos on the page and if it does all they are showing, it is far ahead of AIBO in some respects. Sony gutted what AIBO initially was, a robot that RESEMBLED an animal, in some cases a dog, with the 210 a lion cub. But primarily it was a robot and swiss army knife robot with many ways to expand. Until they dumbed it down into a dog pet replacement, nothing else. For developers they locked it down so much you can do very little with it. This finally is robot that does more then bark and sing songs. I hope you succeed.

The fact that the paws can’t lay flat and it’s barely responding to touch is a huge no for me. Even the old furreal friend cats could lean into touch.

Now we have a robot cat doing a grand total of 3 differents sluggish moves. How desperate can one be to buy one of these ? After taking a whopping 5 mins interacting with it you'll want to bring it back to the store. It's an overpriced tamagotchi and nothing else...

You must be one of the rare lucky people who got one that works, or maybe you work for Elephant Robotics. The rest of us all got bricked garbage and ER stole our money and left us with nothing.
