I left a ford dealer in 2021. Their repair manual worked very similar. Now I’m self employed. I use Identifix. They are limited on what can be accessed, I’m sure due to licensing. The biggest pain I run into is guided diagnostic that ford does on some of their systems on newer cars. Their scan tool connects to their repair manual to give dtc descriptions and testing steps.

WILL intelligent diagnostics ONLY WORK WITH BMW OR CAN IT WORK WITH THE ASIAN BRANDS ALSO THANKS ????

Great video, I bought the Ultra the first year it came out and didn’t renew the subscription. Do I need an active sub to download the info for intelligent diagnostics?

Like you said this is great. It's pretty cool and convenient, but it is useless for me. I won't be purchasing this tool till at least June-July. Now I am sure Autel may try and find a replacement for this.

Very good information to know. I do have an Autel ultra that I got in 2023. A family member was asking me what would I recommend for Northern America vehicles only? Please let me know what you think when you get a chance. Thank you.

I have the Autel 919 does this work on it aswell? What all models of vehicles does this cover and do uou have to buy any extra subscription for this? I’m on a current subscription for the next year. Sorry for all the questions just curious. Great work👍

BEWARE! Intelligent diagnostics is no longer available for any Autel scan tools due to a lawsuit between Autel and Mitchell/snapon. If you upgrade your tool software you risk loosing Intelligent Diagnostics and subfunction like Relevant Cases, Guided trouble shooting, circuit diagrams and more.

So from what you are saying is if I was to buy a new Autel Ulta I’m not going to get this information ? Is there any other brand of tool that has this capability ? Did the Autel had this functionality for other European brands like VAG group,Mercedes etc … and was it only the ultra that had this functionality ?
