I'll never forget in 2015 when my house help and his boyfriend connived and took my daughter away for sale. Thanks to Ongata Ronkai Police station they were able to track the two culprits. My daughter was found after 24hrs. I had all the documents that belonged to the lady, but at that particular time they meant nothing to me. The pain of loosing a child is horrible, and it hurts so bad. My world had come to an end within 24hrs what about that parent that has lost the child forever. I give glory to God, may GOD bless Ongata Ronkai Police station together with all the people who were involved in helping me get my daughter back. Today she's 10yrs and I am thankful for each and every moment of her life.

Historically domestic workers or house maids never used to steal from their employers, despite being mistreated by their bosses. This is a learning curve for both domestic workers and employers to change their xenophobic behaviours and start treating workers with dignity like any other human being. Respect is earned both ways.

Where did she find courage to carry that heavy safe box alone? Mwizi ni mwizi kweli. When working at any place we all need to be councillors on our own not to follow evil mind. Eunice and her so called boyfriend deserves a punishment. For me It's 15yrs now, working as a house manager in the same house of 4 kids, the last one just turned 17yrs in dec. I love them, they love and trust me fully always calling me an angel and helping me to work. But now, I'm looking forward to be employed with another family of young kids . I love my work.
