How long is the 4x4? How far down to dig the hole? What is the name of the cement you are using? So you just add water to the top and churn it up with a stick?

4x4 goes down 2 ft just add a lot of water to the top it will get into all the concrete using quikrete

Yeah you definitely want cement but mix up instead of just dumping in the hole. The cement will be way stronger
