He is doing high five, Walk on foot, go through, jump, spinn, lay down, roll over, sit, and finally plays a ball game.
He likes very well to learn these skills.
Maine Coon from Sandefjord in Norway. He is now 13 months. Weight 8,5 kg (18,6 lbs).

Immediately after this video was shot Felix did his owner's taxes and found numerous deductions saving them lots of money.

We have a black Maine Coon male and he is sooooo smart. We have not trained him but he trains himself sometimes. Our first MC by luck and we absolutely adore him. He is such a sweet animal and so well behaved. He talks to us or comes to get one of us to do something for him. He is a real gentleman and never demands anything, just asks gently. We love the trills and quiet mews from him. We are doing our best to spoil him and he is taking to that very well. He was returned to the shelter and was a little shell shocked when we got him but he is now a wonderful companion. And he is such a handsome boy...

We have a black male and they are so smart. He will come when called and he has several mannerisms to tell us what he wants to eat, either wet catfood, kibble, or snacks. And such a gentleman too, NO demands and the sweetest trills. He is a rescue as he was returned to the SPCA twice and was a bit messed up when we got him but he is not shy anymore and will come and get us to either change one of his large litters or groom him. Bonus is he is a very good hunter and our once mouse problem is gone. On top of all that he has such a handsome face and all in all is quite adorable.

I meant Dogs. Now they have passed and I have two Cats. I believe that having more than two dogs or two cats is the only way to go. I will put it this way. If I was living in a world where animals, say Bears; I would want another human with me. Lol, so I always have at least two cats or two cats.

Cats are more intelligent and willing to learn "tricks" as most people think. I had/have 16 cats. One boy, a white and black one (no breed, son of a stray), was able only after a few times showing him, to high five. He learned by himself to open doors and windows (with handles) and could slide open the door to the garden. He then got interested in keys, but couldn't turn them around. He also tried to write (polydactyl) when he saw me doing crosswords. And then he made local phone calls, purring in to the phone and driving once an elderly woman crazy (she thought it's a perv). He is now since a good while over the rainbow bridge and I hope that he carries on up there with his shenanigans. His brother, black and white who looked exactly like the "Felix" cat, was a talented football player. He never kept the ball, always either kicking it or dribbling (pushing the ball with tiny little steps like a pro). Playing the ball further to the other cats or to me. That are the memories which no one can take off me.

Felix is sooo handsome. My Maddy was Maine Coon and he would play fetch for as long as I would throw the ball for him! Coonies are amazingly smart and so full of character. Love all the tricks you taught him, super cute!

I like Felix. Smart boy! Shows cats can do obedience tricks, too, with the right training. My late "toy black panther" Moishe used to speak on command, jump down from the shower door top track onto my leveled back and understood the word "cookie." He also knew "sit" and "up."

We have a male Maine Coon cat. He was a stray we took in. The veterinarian we took him to said he has a microchip but no one answered the phone when they called or called back. He is very bossy and demanding to my adult daughter but is sickening sweet and loving to my adult son who has a beard and long hair. The cat is beautiful to look at and weighs 17 pounds.

What a beautiful boy. I have 2 Maine coon mix brothers. They have a good vocabulary - they come when I call them, they adore being groomed and bellies rubbed. One does his own version of "high five' -- I hold out my hand and he jumps up to rub his head against it.

This is a Great example of how "Cats" are Smart too! And ppl say cats do nothing but lay around. But when you get to see proof they don't just lay around, ppl like this complains.

You would be surprised at how easy it is to train 🐱s. My cat Puss would hang with my husband while he fixed cars, jump up on the truck when asked and come when called. Bring dead bird presents of love to the house. (Oh Puss. ) He loved his family Very much a family centered cat.
