I like how in both cases the employees see any weird things happening with the animatronics as simple malfunctions than hauntings at first, but at the very end they realize just how haunted these things really are.

For those trying to read the mandatory suicide part this is the best I've gotten from it "If you've made it this far you've seen too much. At this point, the animatronics should become fully aware and hostile because of your recent tampering. Accept your death with open arms because the door is now locked and you will not escape from this room. I love how this video uses things like the wiring being shot and the computer not being turned off as plausible explanations for Bonnie’s behavior. It genuinely makes you wonder how much of what’s happening is paranormal and how much is genuinely just faulty animatronics. It really makes this whole video feel more real and unsettling. Like this is a real scenario a person could be in and experience.

It's so terrifying to think that a kid possesses this animatronic, and is now being ripped apart, and feeling everything. The part where his arm snaps is so creepy because that would basically be the equivalent to one of our arms just completely dislocating/breaking. Not only that, but as the guy on the video was saying, most things were ripped off by force. Not tools, or machines; human force. It's extremely painful, and eerie to think about this...

This is why, of the four (Five if we count golden freddy) Withered Bonnie is my favorite, i mean. The fact that he has no face, his right arm is absent, and his right paw and left hand show his endoskeleton, makes him quite frightening. And for the conditions in which it is, it should not be active. That's why i love him so much, because this one, compared to the others, looks more like a living dead robot, who surprisingly is still alive in spite of his conditions. And in fan games like Final Nights 2, and The Joy of Creation, they give it an even more damaged and dead appearance. Ignited Bonnie is like Withered Bonnie, but he looks more like a skeleton, and he's very agressive, since he literally hits the player when he caughts him. And Brunt Bonnie, well... How is he still alive!?

No one mentioned this but 7:10 has to be the most realistic human reaction I've seen in a VHS tape, that sudden pause after bonnie stared at the worker despite being deactivated was so well done, it perfectly captures what it feels like to be alone and experience something paranormal as small as an eye moving, you suddenly get a sense of dread and fear that temporarily takes away your ability to speak, and all you can do is stand still and stare for that one moment, I've personally experienced this before and can say that this tape did an excellent job at expressing that feeling, words can't describe how great this VHS tape is, easily my favourite.

Anyone who's worked with old technology such as myself will immediately resonate with the technician talking to himself and calling the robot a piece of junk lol, also love that you actually modeled and textured a board for Bonnie's head, also for future reference you should try modeling an old serial port and connection from the animatronics to the computer, as wireless capabilities for computers were expensive and impractical at the time, love the period accurate IBM machine btw! At this point the animatronic should become fully aware and hostile because of your recent tamperings. *Accept your death with open arms, because the door is locked.*" 9:25 - The blood on bonnie's head plate 2:49 - The very realistic reactions from the worker, the subtle pausing and mild confusion, the terror when he turns around and sees it behind him. - Bonnie trying to wave at him, and his arm snapping. 4:17 Someone mentioned in the comments that they figured because Bonnie is haunted, the child inside feels everything happening to him. Imagine trying to wave to someone in order to keep them from tearing you apart, and the motion dislocating your arm. Ouch. - When bonnie attacks, he is crying. REALLY well done, this scared the shit out of me :D

Near the end, when the animatronic disappears after the breaker flips, you can just feel the quite realistic sense of dread, especially since the door was locked. Also near the end, after he took the front head plate off you can see a very slight movement. I feel like this vhs was just so well and carefully crafted, although it feels like at the end where Bonnie approaches you, it does feel a bit choppy. I’m no animator myself though, and I feel like this is much better than I can ever do, but it still feels so much more realistic than most others that I’ve seen.

Really good stuff! Probably the highest quality FNAF content I've seen, right along side Battington's stuff. I really like how this explains why Bonnie is missing half of his face. Only thing that's confusing is that the individuals in both this and Salvage seem to act as if they have no peripheral vision and are somehow surprised when the animatronic has abruptly moved (sometimes multiple feet towards them) when the camera pans back up. The audience's field of view may be limited to the 80's camcorder lens but the people holding the camera certainly aren't.
@SpectreAnimations
@SpectreAnimations Жыл бұрын
Yeah your absolutely right. People can see what the camera doesn't see. The idea though is that this is still a movie technically so if the worker gets scared and the camera doesn't catch it, then the audience isn't scared and are more confused because they have no idea what's happening you know? I might do something like that though in the next fnaf tape because I'll have a lot more liberties and I want this next one to feel as realistic as possible. Thanks for the feedback!

I feel like this entire episode was about Bonnie becoming more and more annoyed with this technician until it boiled down into bloody murderous rage. Sure his body is a prison, but he seems to like it. But this guy just came in and quite literally disarmed him, and tore off his face. And Bonnie/Jeremy has been making several attempts to stop the salvage. First, he tries to squirm free but fails. Then he tries to turn off the computer, but fails, but not before he gives the technician an annoyed glare. Once removes his face it's game over. I could totally see him looking at himself during that short time he disappeared, before reappearing with fury burning in his now red glowing eyes as he decides to kill the man as a form of spiteful payback.

It's really good, although I want to respectfully provide constructive criticism. In my opinion and my opinion entirely I feel that the ending all happens in one big fuss rather than continuing at the pace of the rest of the tape. I feel that ending with a news report or showing the mechanic hiding in a corner while the animatronic stalks them would continue to immerse the character in the environment while still conveying the same plot while sticking to the VHS theme (although I will say that it cutting out in the end helps the VHS theme, just I feel that adding the tape's menu to the end after the final shot of bonnie could achieve this same goal). I would also like to say that I feel that this video has a much more 'grainy' filter that makes it harder to see compared to your last video. Just minor things. (just to make it clear I am in no way saying I can do it better, just stating my opinion as I feel that it can be helpful). I don't want this criticism to take away from how large this step up in quality is compared to your last project. You have achieved a much more ambitious project that has a-lot of moving parts that makes it much more immerse compared to your peers tapes. Your usage of hands and outside camera work excels in this type of maintenance style video and it shows how much talent you have. Please continue to push your boundaries as I feel a-lot of the things you tried with this video really worked. Keep up the fantastic work!
@SpectreAnimations

Very interesting thoughts. I'll admit, yeah the pacing wasn't exactly the greatest with this tape and that's something I realized while making the thing. I do like that idea of adding seemingly real world events and aspects like a news paper report or what not. I might end up using that idea or something similar to that in a future entry in this series. As far as the "grainy" filter, I'm not sure what I did differently to this video than the other video to make it harder to see. My guess is that they are the same quality but this tape has more light and more detailed objects in it than the salvage did you know? Thank you for the compliments though that really means a lot. Also thank you for the criticism cause it gives me ideas I would've never thought of, makes me realize how I can improve and overall just helps me make my products better.

@@SpectreAnimations I like the style, and i love the way you make the actual hand movement feel so smooth, very sleek. I think it would be a cool thing tho to add something like a deeper ambience to the building it to make it feel more uncanny the more the video goes on, to the point its like subtle but still uncanny. I like when horror stuff uses ambience to add a deep sense of dread, i can say tho what you have already is phenominal, Absolutely amazing, wish i had that skill

If anything, I would’ve loved for the maintenance guy to actually survive the ordeal, as I feel having them die at the end has sort of become overused in this sorta thing. I think having the animatronics rarely kill would make them scarier, as it makes them feel less outright malicious, and more animalistic.

@@SpectreAnimations The video is made much better in some points than other people's ones but may I add a thought too? Personally I think the guy is rather surprised than terrified when seeing Bonnie moving on his own - the voice acting was very good but I feel like something could be changed about it. And maybe troughout the video itself, make it seem like he's talking to himself too and not solely for the camera. (To make it seem more like he talks to himself, make it so that he talks a little quieter, not so focused on what he's saying but rather on what he's doing). In rest, loved the video! Please dont stop making them.

not even two minutes in and i am ENAMOURED by the animation. I feel like in fnaf inspired vhs stuff, anything with humans, or handheld camera, looks too static and artificial. I’ve gotta say, you’ve done excellent. The camera movement is amazing, and the origin story of Withered Bonnie is cool, always love a backstory! The thing that really added to the scary factor was near the end, when the flashlight went out, and the only source of light illuminating the room was the computer screen, showing Bonnie still connected, and the echoed cries of the child’s spirit possessing Bonnie, or Jeremy. That should’ve been a giveaway to the employee of why the animatronic was behaving oddly. I was honestly expecting the worker to find something he’d regret during the odor inspection. Maybe he could run out of horror if he discovers a kid inside the suit? But it’s just my opinion, still good video regardless!

Of all of the FNaF VHS-styled videos I've watched, this is easily one of my favorites and one of the most unique as well. Even though you can tell that it's not really there, the incorporation of real world aspects like an actual arm interacting with the animatronic is a neat idea. It's also a cool idea to show to us how Withered Bonnie came to be the way they are, it's a cool concept to tackle. On top of that, I love the smaller details, with the main one springing to my mind being when the technician notices Bonnie staring at him and pausing for a moment, before resuming what he was talking about. Getting to a see someone freeze in response to a little detail but then playing it off as no big deal is something that far too little videos of this type do, so it's awesome getting to see it here. Last thing I wanna add is that the noise that Withered Bonnie makes before it attacks it is legitimately creepy, nice work.
