the shot of maisie hugging herself is BRUTAL because i take it as she's consoling herself and finally accepting who she is. in ysuft she tends to have sadder songs, but i really hope mp2 is like reputation. you are phenomenal, maisie.

This is song is so catchy. It has two male work colleagues aged 33 and 43 singing it randomly regularly most nights at work on the night shift. haha. Its epic. I do think though the lyrics and video go much deeper. I can only assume you had a sister that "he" chose.....

Since I guess somebody might feel the way you describe in the lyrics - this is for you: Your body is perfect and if the one that you thought was the one for you finds somebody else, than that is just a sign that he or she wasn't what you thought they'd be. You'll find someone who will love you unconditionally and will think that you, your body and everything inside your mind is the most beautiful thing ever. So definitely dance to that amazing song and know that YOUR ONE is waiting for you ♥

Maisie, you're one of my favorite singers, CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED! I showed my friends Not Another Rockstar and now they're addicted. A lot of famous songs have like really generic meanings but yours always tell a specific and unique but relatable story at the same time and it's so refreshing. You Signed Up For This was my go to Playlist this summer and I memorized more than half of the songs and sing them all the time. I struggle with body insecurity so this makes me feel like I'm not alone ❤

Pretty late to the comments but gods this song just ruins me in the best way possible. I've felt this exact feeling for years but never tried to put them into words but here it all is in song form (AND IT'S A BOP). I really can't stop listening to this song cause it's helped me process this emotional trauma I've had from being cheated on three times in a row even when I know I gave my best and it all just boils down to them having a better body. Maisie, I love you so much your music just destroys me and I will forever be a fan. I really hope I get to see you perform live one day.

hey maisie just letting u know i absolutely adore ur music. maybe don't and take care of yourself have helped me w my anxiety, and i love ur other songs as well. including girl's house btw i still want it. i am pregnant and going thru a lot of body changes that my friends have not gone thru (i am 19) so "has she got a body better than mine" is literally my insecurity w my boyfriend when he goes out. no basis in reality but that line hit me hard. i listen to ur music all the time (as does my baby) and i hope u know u are loved

Oh Maisie, this is amazing and it hit so hard! Lying here in bed thinking I'll quickly check out your new stuff before I fall asleep and now you got me in tears over past relationships - not for the a-holes that are better off gone, but for how hard I was on myself, how I assumed there must've been something not good enough about me.
