was hoping that Amex would wise up and not punish Platinum card holders from getting welcome offer for the Gold. So silly. Such radically different cards and of course many would want both. So will give someone else my 2nd highest spend category instead.

Does AMEX consider a business card application to the EIN number for the welcome bonus? Or is the welcome bonus restricted to only one say AMEX Business Gold per SSN?

I jumped on the business gold at the 295 AF after I found a 150k bonus. Hopefully get a retention offer next year. If not it’s out of the lineup

I got my gold card first and after a month, I got approved for Plat by phone. They never mentioned I wasn't eligible for the SUB, even the chat support said I was eligible. After spending 6k, came to find out I wasn't and they made a mistake. Now I'm stuck with no bonus Plat. They said I can cancel it and they will reimburse the AF, so I am thinking to cancel it. I had a lot of CCs this years including CSP, so I think I have no idea where to go next. Any ideas? I got denied with the Venture X as well. I want a travle card since 2024 is my travel year. Love your contents!

see if you can get the chase unlimited first year bonus - won't help you for the 1st year but next november you'll be able to transfer your points to the CSP i would also see if you can downgrade to taht card, then upgrade to CSR. i love my CSR and never use myAmex anymore
