When we had the bigs and lacked a bit on guards, LbJ did more at guard play. That allowed some beef up at the 4. AD someone else and LbJ mostly at point, at least on the offensive side.

Obvs Handy stays, but who else around the League does JJ like? Him and Rondo got a connection? What would be pretty awesome I'm not gonna lie, the Lakers miss those Rondo smarts. I've got a feeling Rondo will be one of the new assistant coaches this upcoming season. Bron and AD have both gone on record stating they can't believe Rondo isn't coaching on a pro level yet. Imo that was an alley oop from them. JJ as the head coach with Handy and Rondo as assistants

Does it make sense to secure a quality back up center for AD? Rebuild our 3 headed monster at Center we had in 2020? then we can go out and get quality 3 and D guards as AR and Max continue to develop?

I implore laker fans to stop being over enamored with 3pt% the way trevor and sean are. Rob and the front office traded away Kcp and caruso because they wanted better 3pt% players. We won in 2020 because we were the best defensive team in the league. Not bcuz we were great 3pt shooting team. 💜💛

Depth is the way to go. Would like to see how well current roster plays with a healthy Vando, Vincent & Wood. Resign Max Christie & let him play meaningful minutes ( 15-20 minutes). Also increase playing time for Christian Wood. Resign Taurean Prime for vet min but decrease his PT to 10- 15 mpg. Trade 1st rd pic for backup center.

1) Trade AR + Vincent & 2 unprotected picks for Dejounte. 2) Trade Rui & a pick for Finney Smith. 3) Trade DLo for Caris Levert. Use the taxpayer MLE to sign Valanciunas. Re-sign Dinwiddie & Max. Done. Dejounte/LBJ/Finney Smith/AD/Valanciunas/Vando/Levert/Dinwiddie/Wood/Max C./Hayes/JHS/Bronny?/2nd rd pick = $183 million. 15th roster spot left open for flexibility & about $6M away from the 2nd apron. Done.

@@B1ackchi That was the goal. A realistic build rather a build with a wild set of circumstances. The only stretch may be Valanciunas for the TPMLE. The rest of these guys were targets at the trade deadline, so there’s likely a lot groundwork finished in terms of getting deals done.

Any team Lebron plays on he almost absolves the need for 2 positions. Thats a top tier PG and a top tier SG. And thats because he likes to play with the ball in his hand a lot. IE...Kyrie leaving Cleveland. At some point Lebron needs to fall back. Like Dwade did in Miami. They need a Demar Derozan. Donavan Mitchell. They had Malik monk and let him go. They had kcp and let him go. Like wtf. We need a young beast backcourt.

Isn't Ty Lue under contract for another year anyway? He's not a free agent so, why would the Clippers rush to offer him an extension now? That would only benefit the Lakers or other teams needing a coach. If they wanted to fire him or trade him, then they would have already made that decision, or make that decision soon before going too deep into the offseason.

Why not interview Rajon Rondo? LeBron has stated that Rajan has a very high IQ when it comes to basketball. If I'm going to have a first-year coach I would rather have Rajon Rondo. I can't believe the Lakers are not looking at him. Plus Rajan demands respect.

I feel like the NBA and lakers pivoted to far the play small 3 point game to mimic the warriors. But size and systems win look at the nuggets, Celtics and Wolves. Lakers need to get back to being the bullies in the league with highly functioning systems on both sides

Lakers need a big man in the paint. Idk why dwight howard isnt an option to sign, hes played alongside AD and that worked well. Speaking of Guards why isnt a sign and trade with DLO an option, hes not gonna cut it, this yrs playoffs showed he cant be that reliable 3rd option. Hell if LA really wants a shot, they have to move DLO and if AR needs to be in the package then lets see what other pieces can be added if that were to happen. And yes im speaking if LA were to sign Mitchell. Lebron has a good two/three yrs left, why not try this trade that can have huge payoffs. Anyone saying that this would be like getting Westbrook, these two are not the same. I say lakers try to make a trade for mitchell. Lets see what happens within the next couple of weeks, biggest issue is the HEAD COACH

As long as prima donna lebron is a Laker, the Lakers are to continue to be a joke of a team; focused on giving in to lebron's personal "achievements" (including having the insignificant bronny in the roster). This has been the case in the last 3 seasons; hasn't anyone noticed yet? And it's gonna get worse as lebron becomes slower, lazier, "floppier" and more stupid as a point guard wanna-be on the floor. These "who is the team signing up?; who is the team trading for?, who is the new coach?" are NONSENSICAL.

Sean and Trevor, think of this, there's reports KD has not been happy, West is loaded, LeBron make the call to KD, we gotta enough picks- salary's - players, move Dlo - Ar - Rui, and go get Darius Garland, make the moves work. Vando and everyone else coming back healthy, find best minimum big we can possibly get, and contend from there, west finals minimum is expected.
