Premium Shop items are far too expensive, so personally i don’t blame people who are seeking cheaper alternatives. Players have been expressing their frustrations with the cost of things, and they do nothing about it. People wouldn’t feel the need to look elsewhere if things were reasonably priced in-game. It’s even funny how they still encourage players to make purchases even though we can’t do much if we can’t buy duplicates. It’s greedy in the highest form and i’m really not here for it. The problem is not the Premium Chest, the problem is the cost of things. Point blank period!

I would love to see a video on the broken furniture mode for CONTROLLER players. It’s impossibly slow and difficult to use. I’m hoping if enough people complain it will get fixed this update because I seriously can’t handle it for another 2 months for the next update

The water pump was broken last update and is just still broken. Oddly the animation when you buy it in Scrooge's shop shows the water coming out. I should sue Scrooge for false advertising.

As a PC player, I am shocked at how many bugs there are on other platforms!

My biggest issue is Remy sleeping from 6pm until 3am every day! So hard to do his quests when I work until 5

Not game breaking, but the dreamlight task for removing small night thorns got sorta got resent. It says 2.9k/20 for me and keeps popping up as if I completed it but won't me actually 'claim' the reward

There’s guaranteed bugs in every update so they need to be more talkative and when they’re fixing the bugs within the first week of release. I feel like they’re very active when it’s a dlc update talking about bugs and fixing them probably because you’ll be spending almost double the money for both base game and dlc but I see a significant difference in support quality and them talking about the issues when it’s just a base game update they often don’t do hotfixes they leave it till the next update. The new furniture mode is awful and impossible to use on controller it’s completely zapped my love for decorating but I doubt they would fix that until the next update which is really worrying.

Another really annoying bug I've found is you can get the glider tag for the daily Daisy coin mission and no matter which glider you have it won't register it so you can't complete it.

I think it would be fine, if they just said this was a side effect of their patch to stop a major exploit, and they are working to resolve it, then gave some moonstone compensation. They did really need to stop the exploit, but that isn't a reason to not be open about it.

About the premium items at scrooge I couldn't buy more one or two weeks before the update. I liked the water pump because when a squirrel was nearby it came to drink water on the floor, it was too cute. This game is really beautiful but it can be very stressful and sometimes I have to take a break from it because of all the bugs. Too bad.

i finslly gave in and bought the game for pc cuz playing it on switch was ridiculous, it crashed every hour and so many of the graphics were literally impossible to even see like the icons on the inside out ride or the designs on the bretzel stand and that other one, switch players will know what i mean. I was very upset I had to purchase the game again but Serroh was so right, this game on pc is a COMPLETELY different game, i'm mind blown!!!!! (i'd played on switch lite since it came out)

Still not as game breaking as the constant crashes were last update lol.. And I think some players are still getting them now. But yeah, it's definitely a major bug and I hope they address it soon.

Here's one thing I don't understand about the "blue chest" theory. It also blocked the FREE pride items. How do the free items factor in? I'm just waiting for ppl to start disputing the moonstone purchases. Because ppl not buying future items is a longer term issue they may be able to push off. Dispute charge backs, and fines from losing disputes (I work for a bank, I've seen this so many times) that'll have potential immediate repercussions financially. I'm hoping that compels them to fix it.

As a Sims 4 player, I'm used to updates coming out and obvious things being broken. Some game companies don't care about the products they put out, they just care about the $$, sadly

Mulan’s hair and body disappear (if she’s in the frame with her back toward you) when talking to other villagers. It’s quite disturbing 😂

I play Sunhaven on Steam. They put out an update about a week ago. They have released 6 game fix updates since then. Almost daily! Been shocked after seeing how long DDLV takes to fix problems.

My Inside Out quest is bugged. It's dropping some of the thing I'm supposed to pick up for memories, in areas I can't reach.

Each time there’s an update there aren’t ant blue chests anywhere. This time on top of that I can’t place cooking campfire, it doesn’t even shows up in my inventory.

They need to fix this asap!!! Your Mulan area is looking gorgeous even without being able to buy the extra items

I love this update but this bug is a bad one because we did pay for these items and should be allowed to get more .

The bugs i experience are that my daily favorite gifts for the characters dont reset everyday.. same for conversations and i can't pick up any herbs or flowers. I can't go finishing either .. the circles don't reappears.I can't even finish the star path *missions*. All of them requires me to pick up herbs, talk to someone, give gifts and go fishing.

I wrote them an email and they acknowledged the bugs

Both me and my mom have the "Remove Small Night Thorns" Dreamlight Foraging quest bugged. It has our number completed out of 20. For example, I'm at 2.4k/20 and it says "collect" because I'm really on tier 4, but it says I'm back on tier 1 of the challenge, but I can't actually turn it in. On Xbox btw

I think the devs are being made to release the updates before they are fully tested/QA’d in order to stay on schedule

Hopefully, Gameloft does fix those issues soon, because I love decorating in my Valley (which I've been doing very slowly & intend to redecorate my entire Valley, at some point). Also, want the game for us Switch player (like me) to stop crashing, please. It seems like every update we get, we always seem to have some kind of issues. It's my concern & worry that it seems like a majority of it is because of the Switch. I worry that if the Switch continues to be the major issue that either Gameloft will decide not to continue DDV content or decide not to continue it for the Switch. Which I extremely hope doesn't happen, because I absolutely love this game. Honestly, I mainly got my Switch just for this game.

I was doing the quest to get Mulan and mushu in my valley. You know the quest where you make dragon rockets and mushu sets them off and causes a landslide? After the explosion happened, my character was completely trapped and couldn't move to meet up with Mulan and mushu. So I saved my game, closed the game, reopened it, and my character spawned back in the valley like she's supposed to. That fixed the issue because my character wasn't stuck anymore, went back to mulan's realm, and didn't have any more issues.

I picked a bad time to actually try decorating 😅

I think they knew it was bugged before they pushed it live. They just figured they’d patch it with the hotfix and deal with our complaints in the meantime. Now, if the bug was enabling players to get free moonstones or premium content, we would’ve had a fix yesterday. 🤷🏻‍♀️

GameLoft makes tons of money selling past "star path" items 1000 %inflated price. But yesterday they fired 500 people. Fixing BUGs for us isn't a priority

I have to say I'm completely disgusted with Gameloft at this point. This update was the last straw for me, I think... They prioritize squeezing more money out of us. There are much better games that are free to play where the developers display far less greed. I cannot, in good faith, promote this game on stream anymore. It's become too predatory and I'm quite disappointed in how it's being managed.

The moonstones are annoying. If you buy them from the mulan star path, it doubles what you originally had but you won’t have that actual amount. Like for me it said I had enough for the stitch bundle, but when I went to buy it, it said I didn’t have enough

I'm playing on switch and I still get several crashes. I think I had 6 during 5 hrs of play, costing me all the time decorating because I lost everything. Also while facing Olaf's cave to the right I have a section where I can no longer place items, trees, decorations. And thats where my Kristoff stall is and I can't pick it up to move it, I can still buy from it, just no moving it. It looks funny in just that one section with no trees lol

I’ve just resigned myself to these crashes and bugs. I love the game but the glitches really take away the appeal of playing.

I was robbed of my dreamsnaps since the update 😩, it said that I did not submit an entry and I know for sure that I did. So I lost out some moonstones that I need to open the star path. It sucks. Love the game, but the constant bugs are making me want to quit.

Im gonna say it and i know everyone is gonna jump on me im braced for it lol but i was def disappointed after this update. And its bc i see them getting greedy. It wasnt always this bad. Like we got the stitch bundle and wat do ya know it comes right beside the stitch dreamsnap. You can argue you dont need premium shop items to rank high with snaps ok but dont tell me the person with all the cool add ons from the shop wont do better .. it will look cooler obviously. If it was like only 2 or 3 item's a week fine but they're getting nuts with it i had like 25k moonstones after this update i have like 7 or 8 and esp now money is tight. It just disappointed me. Im done now 😂

Honestly, my patience has run out at this point. I mean, some bugs are obviously to be expected. No game is free of any bugs and it's impossible to catch them all. But with how many major & game-breaking bugs many people are experiencing since the last two updates, it's getting more and more sketchy. It looks like Gameloft doesn't do any testing at all. Cause the Scrooge bug is so, so major and so easy to catch. And it prevents us not only from decorating, but from making dreamsnaps, where we often use multiples of the same item too. With decorating your valley, you can wait until the fix. With the dreamsnap, we only get one week to do it and can't wait. Don't get me wrong, I love this game to bits and I've never spent so many hours and so much money in any other game, so I'm certainly not intending to stop playing, but until Gameloft gets their act together, I'm not spending any money on moonstones anymore

So a bug i seam to have is with the event I play on the ps5 and while looking for the cakes in the realms I found that there is a cake in the ratatouille realm that I can’t get to because it is inside one of the counters just as you inter the realm so you can’t get to it at all. I tried to exit and re enter realm many times but it’s still glitched in the counter.

I have been playing video games since before home systems existed and ddv is hands down one of the worst games I have ever seen in terms of bugs and the devs responses to fixing said bugs. This game is almost two years old and there are issues that still exist from the beginning. That is truly shameful. Gameloft needs to do better. They need to do better by the game and by the players. They make changes no one ask for, like the change made with placing a path. Every update introduces new bugs and glitches. They gouge us on the price of premium items and tie dreamsnaps to those same items. There are those who can't get new villagers and gameloft doesn't care. Gameloft cares only about how much money they can squeeze out of us and nothing about making a stable game. I know that was long but I needed the rant. And to @Serroh.... you are awesome and I love what you do. No matter the issues you are always positive. I look forward to every video. You are the man!

A Memory Mania hockey trophy spawned right inside the door of Scrooge's shop. The only option I get is to exit. No matter what angle or how close I am to the trophy, the remove option does not appear. It is the last piece of the green orb pieces that I need. All I get from the orbs now is coins. That piece has not respawned. I cannot complete the event without it.

I stopped decorating when everytime I did a quest I had to undecorated to find certain items. Its maddening

i also noticed 2 of the amusment park rides are not turning on , its not even giving the thing to turn them on with.

The bugs this time around are bad. The Up house making that horrendous noise, can't purchase furniture items, the slow ass speed in decorating mode with a controller, and trying to get a path down is too annoying to even bother now. Doing dreamsnaps is impossible. You can't remove the window with the poses, filters etc so you can't see your entire photo now. I have never seen it this bad. Playing in Beta was way smoother.

Okay, this is a little long and ranty, but I've had it up TO HERE with GameLoft and all these bugs and things at the moment. Apologies in advance, feel free to skip. I just need to get it out. Bugs I have: Can't order from Scrooge, like everyone Under the Dreamlight Tasks menu for clearing night thorns, it has reset to the first 20, even though I had completed that task in total I can't complete two of the Mulan quest tasks, even though I have leveled her all the way to 10--I can't give her the item I picked up in her realm (not sure what it is actually)--I can tell her I need to give her something, then... that's it. I can't remember the other one, but there are definitely two. I opened the gift bag items in Mulan's realm, and they have disappeared completely Daisy is asking to use Gliders in her daily challenge, and there is no way to equip them in the shop, so no way to finish that challenge Myst orbs are spawning where I can't even get to them with the staff AND myst itself is spawning where I can't retrieve it. I've had 500 myst stuck in the Frozen realm for weeks (prior to this update); now there's more in other places. I've also lost a bunch of glimmer when the game crashes on me. I've gone back in to try to get it again, and every realm says there's no more available that day I have had no blue chests anywhere in the Valley or on the Isle for days, but the green ones still show up Not sure if this is also a bug, BUT: I have never once gotten the pink pillow item from the orb tasks, even though I hunt for those every single day, so I can't complete the last crafting item (the bed thingy) Not bugs exactly but want FIXED: We only get ONE delivery task and one wrought iron bar from Remy per day for completing said delivery task?!? Are they kidding? Unless that's a bug for me and other people are getting more? If it's not a bug, that is some serious BS, it's going to take nearly a week to be able to make ONE item that takes five bars! The items are cute, but no way am I wasting that much time on making them at that rate. The game crashing... it's out of control. Just about had enough to stop playing entirely. The decor item limits on the Switch are absolutely unreasonable. I haven't even really started decorating yet because I find the mechanic for it difficult and annoying (more so now), and even with almost nothing added to the Valley, I'm still getting all kinds of lag, just like in Animal Crossing, but I had TONS of stuff all over my island before that got as bad as it did. Other than the villager houses and some farm plots, I've got maybe ten extra items out TOTAL on both the Valley and the Isle, and actually it's probably a net negative from the initial game startup because I've removed a whole lot of things they had out, as well--lots of extra trees and shrubs and stuff, so it should be smoother than ever. If it's going to lag that bad anyway, just remove the freaking limits and let us decorate the way we want, damn it. The biggest one for me, though: GameLoft, PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE give us a workaround for the no-time-travel-thing. When I started playing, I didn't know time traveling was an issue for DDV, and it was something I did constantly for ACNH. My clock was not set to real time when I started DDV, and now I won't risk completely breaking my game by trying to come up to real time (I'm about two years behind real time.) Because of that, I can't participate in DreamSnaps or vote, nor can I participate in any of the special events, such as the current Memory Mania one or the previous one for the popcorn buckets. That's bad enough. BUT in the last StarPath, and already in this one, there are SO MANY DUTIES that require voting for DreamSnaps. Last time I wound up with the entire top row of tasks dedicated to DreamSnap voting, which I of course could not complete. So I am being penalized all the way around, losing out on moonstones, losing out on special items, everything, all because my damn clock wasn't set to real time on day one when I started playing. I have spent a TON of money in the Premium Shop, so I'm not about to start completely over or switch to a different platform where I can't take all those items with me. I want this fixed. I don't care if Game Loft doesn't want us time-traveling in their game, I will respect that, I won't do it, that's fine, but DON'T prevent me from getting the full use/benefits out of the game play because I didn't know that was an issue when I started. If you guys won't give us (because I am not the only one here) a workaround to be able to get our clocks up to real time without breaking the game, at the very least STOP putting DreamSnap participation/voting in as a Duty on the StarPaths. That is just insult on top of injury. But really, just give us a way to fix it! Yes, I am pissed. Additionally, I do think it's TOTAL CRAP for GameLoft to not only keep people from time-traveling in their own game--that's their business and their right--but to also, by default, keep us from time-traveling in OTHER GAMES. That is NOT their right or their business. Because of this, not only can I not get the full use of DDV, it is going to completely screw me up if I ever get back into ACNH, which I would like to do, but it's going to be an absolute nightmare now. And yes, the amount of money they're charging in the Premium Shop is outrageous. They do know there's a massive recession going on, right? And they just laid off all those employees of theirs. Really stellar moves on their part.

My Scrooge windows are always sold out now. Also, my Dumbo and Tea Cups rides won't turn on anymore! It makes me so sad! I don't ride them but I like to watch them spin.

It’s not just premium and star path. Items obtained from entering codes can’t be ordered at Scrooge either (the ner ballon arches for example. (I haven’t tried the Twitch items, but I don’t know if those were ever a able to be ordered)

I disagree I am an Xbox One player and I can’t order duplicates from Scrooge after I buy them from his shop. The last 2 months I been trying to build a Daisy Salon but I CAN’T order a second salon chair and a second Salon Shelf from Scrooge and I was hoping this update would fix it but I STILL CAN’T order duplicates of any furniture I already bought from Scrooge after the Monster’s Inc update

My water pump has not been intractable since the last update and I put in a ticket with GL and nothing was ever done about it.

Not sure if anyone has had this issue. I've been doing this starpath but I hit a snag. I need to vote 10 time for dreamsnaps but every time I go to vote, it doesn't bring up any of the snaps and after a couple of minutes, it stops trying to bring up the votes.

I still can’t purchase anything from Gaston’s meat cart. It has been many months. All these constant problems are frustrating.

For me, Walle is completely gone. His house is still there, but he has completely disappeared. I can't complete the talk to Walle for the star path. I restarted so many times, and I couldn't find him anywhere. Am I the only one?

I had a problem with the wrought iron being turned into iron ingots so i have to put the wrought-iron on the ground not in a chest.... i haven't been able to craft any of the new ratatouille furniture 😢

I still get the glitch where your decorations become invisible while trying to take the picture for the dreamsnap challenge, and it's extremely annoying. I wish they fix that too

I think there is another bug too for the memory mania quest. I can’t get any of the memories from Scrooge shop or the dream castle like others have. I’ve checked every day.

I play on switch and something I found now is that when I scroll on the items it goes so slow, if I choose to put a rock on the ground, it moves so slow where I want to place it 😢. Also my person walks so slow now, unless I press for her to glide faster she walk faster, but when I am walking it slow a lot than before

My biggest and only glitch other than the Scrooge store one is that i can’t unlock mulan and mushu i can craft the dragon statues and put them in the kiln but the rest of that quest never activates and i even went and did mulans training ones so now I’ve got no quests for them until the mushu one is fixed and i can continue it and I’ve tried everything taking them out swapping the slots leaving and rejoining everything so hopefully there’s a fix soon

I logged on yesterday to collect the blue & green chest like I do everyday. Only to find out neither of them spawned & it was the same thing today. 😢

Went to talk to beast to give him a meal to raise his level (yeah still have not completed his quests) and he started to talk and the press x to move to next line vanished. He was stuck on his first lines stuck on the bottom of the screen but i couldn't get out of it. Everything still moved but i was stuck in his first dialog box. No buttons worked. Couldn't teleport or anything. Had to reset the whole game to escape. Game them asked me to restore local or cloud data. Pretty scary.

I say keep the good bugs and destroy the bad bugs.

This not being able to buy specific items CANNOT be a bug that they let ride until the next update. They haven’t been putting out hotfixes near enough and this is too big to just let go for months

The items from the green chests in Mulan’s realm are not orderable either.

Idk if its all console players or just PSN but since the update, the hide UI button for taking pictures isn't there anymore. It's so frustrating trying to do dreamsnaps with a big blue square blocking the screen. 😭
