Crafting a table takes 15 rot iron if I get to a day that’s eight days. If I want the statue which is 100 and if all I get is two a day that’s 50 days close to two months before I can get the statue. This is a disgusting way to receive a piddly amount of wrought iron.

Remy’s quest requires you to have all the characters that are unlocked in Dreamlight Valley, through friendship quests or realms. So newer players can’t access these quests immediately

I think you were supposed to be able to craft the wrought iron from the iron instead of the other way around

I was dumb and used the first 5 and made them into regular iron ingots 😖 then I accidentally gifted one to Mushu. I’ve never done valley visits so this is gonna take me a long time to finish this quest 😆

The Mulan update is so great. It really is, but the Remy daily quest is a rip off. You have to cook so much food and waste so many resources, and you get one wrought iron. ONE?????

I got 6 wrought iron for the first time then the next day I got only one. I thought it was going to be like Scrooge’s quest with the green buttons where he gave 50 after each quest.

Also Remi asked us to set up the whole outside venue and THEN he gets stingy on the ingredients to make it? Disney missed the game on this quest because they should have had the full quest of the full scene that Remy asked for. This is so bugged and not thought through.

This happened to me today. I had to make 5 dishes 5 times each, so a total of 25 dishes for Stitch and I only received 2 wrought irons. I was like that's not really fair.

Yesterday’s dasher request from remy wasn’t to cook something. It was to get some gems for Scrooge and I got 5 wrought iron. It wasn’t that bad since I already had them in storage. Wrought iron has become the new iron ore!

I think they should change the Crafting algorithm to enable us to craft the Wrought Iron from Iron Ingots instead of it being the other way around.

I know this video is about something totally different than what I'm about to comment about, but I just realized it a little bit ago. The timer in Daisy's Boutique changed. It shows us how long before we can do it again, but we don't have to wait 24 hours anymore. I did mine a little after 10am this morning and when I checked the timer is said I can do it again in 14 hours.

Several days for chairs-fencing is at least more doable than waiting 100 days to do a statue since you at least get multiple chairs-fencing within those several days vs taking a 100 days to do a statue

Legit. I've done the quests every day and earned enough to make one table after making the required chair. That's it. Several times I've had to make a bunch of stuff and received a single bar. It's not worth it.

Like for chairs-fencing are justifiable because you can do one at a time and add to them as you go on. But the statue one needs to be fixed to be less than 100+ wrought iron. The chairs-fencing aren’t as annoying to do since you still get chairs-fencing in the very end. The statue one is completely undoable because it will take too long to get a statue. The chairs-fencing you can do a little bit at a time and add to them as you go on. The statue one is the main problem

Even when I was working, I would play Dreamlight Valley every day. If you play just a few hours a day, you can get stuff done too.

Also the chairs and tables are at least achievable and can be done even if it takes several days since you can take your time decorating the outside of Remys for the chairs and tables the statue is gonna take forever to get done. I think the problem is mainly more the statue being at 100+ wrought iron and the rate remy gives us the wrought iron. The chairs-tables you can at Least obtain 1-5 wrought iron a day and then add to the 1-5 wrought iron daily to do multiple chairs and multiple tables. But the statue is the main problem overall since it’s at 100+ wrought iron. The chairs,Tables,Fencing and pathways slabs yes might take several days to multiples of but at least in the end you get chairs,tables,pathway slabs and fencing of wrought iron less annoying for the chairs-pathway slabs to be at their numbers of wrought iron slabs. You can just do the tables,chairs,pathway slabs and the fencing one at a time and still get chairs-fencing. The statue one is main problem because that one is gonna take like 100+ days. The chairs-fencing in the end you at least chairs-fencing even if you do one chair-fencing at a time. The statue one needs to be dialed back to less than 100 days and less than 100 wrought iron the chairs-fencing iam working on first because those are less annoying to deal with and I can get at least chairs-Fencing out of wrought iron. I don’t think the chairs-fencing are the problem since those can be done without using hacks. The statue one needs to be dialed back for the amount of wrought iron needed to make it.

I dont mind a bit of grind, but today I got 1 iron wrought. This needs to be increased significantly 😅

I love Mulan and Mushu. I really wanted to be excited for the new daily and event. However, everything has gone wrong with the game, and I don't even want to play anymore. I've put in almost 500 hours and hundreds of dollars, and I'm ready to walk away now.

But I definitely agree there has to be another way for the devs to give us wrought iron for us to speed things up iam still working on making wrought iron items because I have like only 6 wrought iron that Iam trying not to use up until I can get to 15 or more wrought iron to do more chairs,more fencing and more pathway slabs and to start doing tables. I think the picture remy has us replicating just has too many tables and chairs for an outdoor seating area when he also expects us to do a huge statue when his restaurant already has a seating inside inside of his restaurant .

Has anyone else completed the Mulan friendship journey through Level 10? I love the outfit but it has a weird brown basket sticking out from the back that does not seem to go with the outfit. Has anyone else noticed this? ~~~ Edited to add: I also noticed that the Star Path has at least 2 tasks directing us to complete a Dreamsnap. They are also spaced out quite far so you can't stall the completion of one of them so you can complete two at once. I have obviously not completed the Star Path (I have to wait at least until next week's Dreamsnap challenge) but I do hope there aren't more of these same Star Path tasks ahead. Maybe they are trying to slow us down, but when a person plays a certain way, it is disturbing to have artificially-created delays or sidelines in something as important as a Star Path.

It's starting to feel like the devs are actively trying to push people away from their game at this point. Dull Star Path objectives, insultingly grindy missions like this......and my game is STILL BLOODY CRASHING!!!! I swear, I've had about enough of this game. I can't do this for much longer!

Getting rod iron through the glitch that you’re saying which is using discord, and even going to other peoples towns is not workable for young people or four people who do not want or afraid that their game may be corrupted by other players. This is just another reason why D DV is fast becoming a throwaway game

This defeats the whole purpose of a cozy game. It shouldn’t be a punishment to be able to craft the cute items that they know everyone wants!!

I personaly really like that new daily quests. I don't mind the slower grind but I get why people don't like it...

I'm ignoring Remy for now in the (slim) hope GameLoft will adjust this madness. His quests are absolutely not worth the time and effort for the single bar of wrought iron I've gotten each time. I don't mind grinding, but not when the rewards are so out of bounds for it. This is ridiculous. With this, plus all the bugs, the constant crashing, a couple other key issues, and the insane amount they're charging in the Premium Shop, I think GameLoft needs to seriously compensate everyone, and not just a measly 500 moonstones. I've rage-quit this game so many times in the last two weeks alone. (Or, let's be honest, the game crashed and kicked me off, so I rage-didn't sign back on. Not quite the same satisfaction!) It's becoming almost unbearable to play at this point, which makes me sad, because I really do love this game--or the game it's supposed to be. But I play to relax and enjoy, not to have all these issues and stress. If this keeps up much longer, I'm going back to ACNH and staying there.

Honestly, if anyone REALLY wants these, duplicating the iron is the easiest way to go.

I honestly don't think this is a bug. It seems that over the last couple of updates Gameloft has been trying to add features that give us things to do every day, to increase engagement between updates and keep the game interesting. I personally don't mind it, in fact, I think it's pretty fun, as launching the game every day just in order to check the shop (and sometimes getting no new items), has become pretty boring at times. Having daily Daisy and Remy quests gives us something to do, and I appreciate that the game doesn't punish you if you do miss a day here and there. I do think that maybe they should make the rewards more proportionate to the specific quests - E.g. if you get one that requires you to cook 10-20 dishes, you should get a reward on the higher side (say, 4-5 ingots) and vice versa.. But other than that, it seems pretty balanced and fair to me.

I thought I would be able to buy wrought iron from Scrooge once I finish the quest. Also, you have to be very careful and dump all of your wrought iron before you convert your iron ingots or you are totally screwed!

We don't need to complete everything instantly. I think much like with Daisy's Boutique and how we have to buy every single base for the furniture any time we want to make 1, this is supposed to be something to tide us over between updates. Something to do for those people who complain there's no content. I mean, log on, get your blue chest, do a challenge, and then a delivery and there's 20 minutes probably of gameplay.

Have you seen the Vanelope storyline for Remy's uber eats? Apparently business owners are the evil villians in this game. I'm a small business owner and honestly, this villifying of us is beyond annoying. "Maybe if you lowered your prices, you wouldn't be such a villian?" What the heck? It feels like they're injecting politics into a video game.
