i think i love the (partially comedic) theory that vulkan has just been beating the shit out of the krork for 10,000 years and vulkan's going to emerge at somepoint from the waugh with the blessing of gork and mork, and accidentally just have a bunch of orks follow him around trying to get him to be their warboss while he's trying to help up the imperium, and vulkan at some point just says "okay guys this battle isn't going well so im going to call in my ork friends to help" and we just get a weird scene of imperium and ork forces allied against the tyranids or something.
