Oh I totally understand that need to relax and do something you enjoy and that's just for you. We give so much to our children, we definitely need to carve out a bit of time to focus on ourselves too. It helps recharge our batteries so we can keep going. 😉 I had already been playing with clay for a few years before my youngest was born, but as she was almost 6 weeks premature weighing only 3 lbs. 11 oz., I didn't want to go back to work and leave her with a sitter and my husband didn't want that either, so that's when I began to work with clay full time and sell my creations online. I'm so happy to hear that my videos have inspired you. 😊 I'm taking a break from selling my creations for a while so I will have time to devote to creating more videos. I've started recording the next one which is a polymer clay scarecrow that I should have uploaded within the next few days. Thanks again, Maggie. 😊 I'm never sure whether people will enjoy the music in the background, or find it annoying! That's why some of my videos don't have any music at all. I know sometimes, for me, music in the background while someone is talking can be very distracting. So I try to make the volume of the music, if I do use it, much lower than the volume of my voice. So hard to know what everyone likes when it comes to making videos! Maybe I'll do a video asking for feedback soon!

and how are you preventing fingerprint marks? it looks so smooth

@@tammyrafuse5833 Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. 😊 It just takes a little practice and you'll be able to get the body shape just the way you want it. As far as keeping fingerprints off, I have developed a very light touch while working with the clay so I usually don't leave fingerprints anymore. But if you do have them, one way to remove them is to dip a Q-tip in a little bit of rubbing alcohol and then gently rub it over the prints and it will smooth them out. Hope that helps. Happy claying!
