I imagine, that would be a wonderful bowl to tool...What a challenge. Do you bisque fire your bowl again after the cobalt painting is done to set the paint before putting on the final clear glaze ?

Wow, so amazing and beautiful. I am curious how many kilos of clay you threw with. What are the finished dimensions? Also, is there a reason why you placed the big platter on the very top of the kiln and had a shelf over it? Thank you very much.

Thank you for watching. The finished size is about 65 cm. The reason for placing the plate on the plate is to prevent dust from adhering during firing.
