Good health dear. My grandchildren and I dabbled in leather crafts. And gradually they got carried away with this interesting business. Not only is this one of the most exciting activities, now there are no problems with gifts and souvenirs for family and friends. We are very grateful to you for your masterclasses, which is very useful for us beginner saddlers. And for your generosity, for the provided templates for your magnificent products. Good luck and stable income. And let your people have enough wisdom to endure the trials that have fallen to you, and in general to all of humanity too. My english is bad sorry. Greetings from Kiev Ukraine.

Hiya Justin. First and foremost, "thank you" for the .pdf free download. 😊🤗💗 There are a few things you did that i have to comment on but it comes from a place of love and learning. 'NEVER ever ever ever ever EVER' ... use a stone for punching holes in your piece you are working on even with leather on top as a buffer. If you fdo not have an acrylic block. Poundo, or the medium dense block weaver sells, then get a 12" x 12" piece of 10oz or higher as a buffer when punching holes. I stii dont recommend using a stone except for setting rivets, eyelets, and some hardware. A stone surface will damage your punches. Golden rule for leather crafting no matter who you talk to. The template you sell in both paper and plastic is beautifully designed. However, there is a better way to cut and assemble your trifold. A: cut all pieces first. B: use the templates to mark ALL the holes (no punching yet) in all the leather pieces. C: when you finish marking, "punch your holes". D: to line up for final sewing, here is a trick i learned from a professional leathercrafter channel... line up top piece + bottom piece; take one of your john james needles and poke through both top and bottom; If it pierces both simultaneously, your ready to glue and stitch. I learned this technique from someone in Thailand and it works. Takes practice but once you get the hang of it, you will save yourself a lot of time. Options - placing adhesive to leather - i found wood stir sticks, plastic art spatulas, metal spatula, etc., are great for spreading cement adhesives. Also, i will share a link with you for precision bottles. They are awesome and the glue doesn't dry out. J - you are awesome and taking a bigh step to make your mark. Kudos. Its because of guys like you i learned as much as i have over the years. Here are the links so you can see some helpful info. 😊🤗😉👍💗 Joining and hole punch technique - 1: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p6eJZNSFuL2dgH0.html 2: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jrmPaNKjx77Zd2g.html Bottles - (these are what i purchased. Im providing them just for examples.) 1: metal needle tip www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JJGQHVQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 2: plastic tip www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010GZCIVM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Great ! As I watch your Vids. I make your wallets. Checking as I go. I've made 3 different types and my last one was much better skill wise, than the first. Just ordered 2 more acrylic templates, this one and a snap one. I must express how much these vids. help to minimize the guesswork and mistakes. I'm well on my way to acquiring good leathercrafting skills, and I owe a great deal of that knowledge to you, the acrylic templates and these videos. Thank You very much !!

What would be causing the template to load into lightburn to small? I’m using a LM3. Made one that came out Monopoly money size. Yes it will be used for that. So scaled it up by 20% still just a hair to small for cards. I’m new to lightburn and the machine. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Hi thanks for the tutorial and the free PDF. Wanted to know if I could find a clear panel for the center, with a finger slide opening, to place a drivers license? Maybe I'll look for something like that at JoAnn's, but maybe you will know where I could find one. I thought I would cut an opening in the leather center panel and glue a clear but firm plastic, see through panel to it. What do you think?
