I don’t even water it and it’s growing really nicely. I think what helped is that I added a cover to it and when I sprayed it with water it was just enough to keep it from drying out ever but not too much to where I’d get mold or rotting issues.

These are from H&M home online, (the ones in the background) this glass jar is from a table centerpiece at a party haha. But hobby lobby has a lot of glass things, and you could always repurpose glass jars from tomato sauce and stuff like that. :)

With cushion moss, do you have to keep the soil attached underneath it for it to live?. I've seen videos where they cut off the under part (the soil and a bit of the brown/wilted part).. in this case can the moss regrow its roots? if yes, how?

that is pre-mixed soil for moss, the etsy shop I purchased it from currently has it out of stock but its made of the following ingredients: akadama, BioChar, Lava Sand

If it’s open you’ll probably have to spray water daily. But overtime you’ll learn to notice when the moss is dryiyout because it looks more pale green and there won’t be moisture in the soil

En Mexico no lo sé, pero si al gun día vas al cerro y encuentras algún tipo de musgo, toma poquito y plántalo en sustrato para terrarios y crecerá

Hey, no its not safe as that will most likely rot the moss. However, there are many water friendly mosses out there used for the aquarium hobby and these mosses are used to grow in water so I would recommend that you look into that option. One of those mosses is a java moss, and you can find many more on websites like Joes Frogs, Joshs Frogs, Daddys Frogs, these are all shop names where you can buy moss from online if you're based in the US. If you are based elsewhere I recommend you visit an aquarium store in your area and I'm sure you will find some moss there.

Yes but you have to spray it every day and I don’t have time for that so I keep it covered with a clear plastic lid and open it up every now and then (probably once a month) for some air
