Good work. perfect tool, but seems your corner was choosed more 45°, you so hard planed. Seems better near or little less 40° to easier slipping.

The plane is beautiful. Is it a traditional Korean design? I am unfamiliar with this plane's form, but I find it very beautiful and functional. Is the core of the plane made of lacewood? Whatever species you have used, it certainly is an excellent choice insofar as appearance is concerned. I have just discovered your You Tube site and I intend to watch and study your videos. From 10:54 to 11:41, it looks like you're adding epoxy to the top of the frog area. But, why? Is it maybe to fill the top of the counter-sunk screws and any minor voids which might be on this surface? I followed along with your logic in all other aspects, just as well as if you'd narrated your actions. But at this point, I could not see your motivation.. Also; do you adjust the iron in the same way you would on an old wood-block plain? Thank you. I love your videos and I am now a subscriber!
