I'm girl, I'm kindof poor but creative. I need a cheap tall shelf for storage and I think of making one that is 130-160cm tall with wheels. I found out the benefits of bamboo, which tools do I need to craft? I'd like to shape bats, kittens and moons on it so it can look cute. So I can afford (I'll first try buying some sticks since it's stronger than steel, might hold right? I want each shelf to stand 3-10 maybe 20kg, but 5-10kg will be already perfect I think). The sticks are kind of cheap. If it looks cute, I try to make a living with it and help others, if someday I have a decent place to live, I try to grow a few (I learned some of the odds, I know i gotta properly place concrete but this I can also do myself and wait 5 years). Can you help me out please? Which sort of bamboo is best? Which tools will I need and which ropes do you recommend? Is bamboo flat rope super sturdy to handle heavy weights too? I'll be very thankful, cheers! :D PS.: which sort of paint do you recommend? And type of glue to glue cute stuff on it for decoration? :D

@@kiranmahato5034 I use danish oil if I do bare wood projects. But I’ve heard from a professional wood craftsman that any clean oil would suffice. I use cooking oil for my wooden cutting board.

You don't want to use Varnish on something you eat out of. I have heard of using a vegetable oil though. Hope that's helpful.

@@mfmfyt definitely olive oil and coconut oil would be the best choice. Coconut is a little bit harder to find. I'm not sure about avocado oil or if the fat content would not be a good choice. I'd be curious to know.
