In the kitchen with Angler's Mail's bait enthusiast Bill Rushmer. Follow his recipe and make jelly pellets, an excellent bait for all types of coarse fish.

Someone below was wondering how these work on semi distant casts. Soft pellets are not made to cast distances, they are mainly used for pole fishing or on a rod close in. For casting you need hard pellets that are attached on a hair rig with a band or drilled and fixed on with a quick stop.

Can u use it with gelatine instead of flavoured jelly?:)

Yes Jake get gelatine powder and use just enough flavoured hot water so the gelatine melts. And use the minimal amount of water in the pump, in the video that is way too much. I break up half an oxo cube into mine as a flavour but the options are endless.

made me laugh how the pellet almost fell off the hook right at the end. not so hookable jelly pellets. nice one bill

Thats because he used a large pellet and a small hook, the hook cannot get a good hold so the pellet will fall off. Use the correct sized hook and you won't have a problem.
