have you been searching KZfaq for ways to make cling stamps stick again? because we are sick of our stamps loosing their tack and we can't use them the way they are intended to be used.
Ask the internet because there's always a crafter that comes up with a genious idea! like the amazing Louise Heinzl. After watching Louise I have an alternative idea to show you that's easy to get and cheaper again, very easy to make as well!

If you have a die cut machine, use your cutting plate with your larger stamps. I keep a clean extra on hand in case I need to replace my cutting plate. I use that extra one for larger stamps.

I put the Zig straight onto the stamp, let it dry and works just how it is suppose to, I find it quick and easy :)

@@JunkJournalideas You will love it cause it will be like nothing ever happened :) If it ever stops sticking again all I do is give the stamp a good wash in warm soapy water, dry the stamp and put the zig back on. I keep all my stamps in folders so it is important that my stamps stick.

Thanks for sharing this, and I thought I’d pass along this. Similar idea as yours yet I apply zig or tomboy directly to the back of the stamp. Let them dry as you said. They’ll then stick to your block as well as back on their carrier sheet. So no sticky blocks at all. Maybe try that as well 😊

I use the glue on the back of the stamps. It not only sticks on the block and it helps stamps stick in their storage containers

Try a product in a spray can used by t-shirt printing companies called Spray Tack. It is removable. Essentially it holds the t-shirt to the pallet for printing and is easily removed with no residue. This would work perfectly for your problem. Ask you local printer to show you how it works. Cheap and everywhere, too.

I like to use one of those thick cottony dish drain mats for a rubber stamp backing on my desk, just lays on my desk and is a perfect cushiony mat for a good stamp image when needed.

I know this is from half a year ago, but just yesterday was trying to encourage a cling stamp off from its original sheet. Took a variety of...shall we say, colourful words? to get it off...Then it was reluctant to stick back after use. I'm definitely going to give this all a go.

@@Kayenne54 I dont know now bc it happened after I put it away and got it back out weeks later? I think my favourite was the zig two way glue, and tombo works the same way, put it on let it dry over night and dont use to much. you can add it directly to the back of the stamp instead of the block

thanks Sefanie I had to get mine sent to Australia from OS a couple years ago now I think I got them from UK but now it's everywhere much easier to get, zig glue pen chisel tip from eBay, Amazon and a few craft websites stock it as well ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
