I like how you have the Personal Inner Thought system now so you can access everything from there like emotes and other shortcuts. Kind of frustrating that they are doing a free fly right after dropping 3.9 when it's all pretty rough and unstable. Doesn't make the best first impression to new folks.

Hey EGG, glad you are back! Could you please make a compilation video of all the workarounds for action layers or mode shifts to avoid getting stuck and stuff? TLDR: How to enter > exit a menu mode on a game that uses the same button for both, but having a HELD action layer for it and not bugging? I´m currently playing Stalker and P goes to map and I´ve mapped right trackpad to mouse region + delayed click to just scroll the map as I touch. I use hold Left trackpad Down to engage this action layer, which also presses P on start press (and P again on end press > delayed layer remove), but sometimes it removes the action layer, other times it doesn´t or messes up the map state in game vs action layer on SC, and I could end up shooting people by mistake. Any ideas?

I think it's really just about finding that sweet spot for the fire start delay on the action layer to remove the layer. Also, I'd only have a load action layer on the default layer, put P as a start press with a slight fire END and START delay on the map action layer. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b5qVddZ2s5yWonU.html

@@RambleCan BTW, I´ve fixed it by using those delays and end press, and using P to get into map (ingame and map layer) and ESC on release to get out of map instead of P again, so now it doesn´t mess with my Ingame and action layer sync. No more psycho killings after reading the map :D .

Could I get your help with something? Okay so basically I need a way to ignore an input if held. Like if i hold for example the b button it will no longer register my initial input whatsoever. So say i have two inputs on b. I want it to do f2 on a short press but that will be ignored if I hold it will do tab instead altogether and forget I even pressed f2 at all. Because what I need to press requires holding tab (its fallout) that turns on my flashlight when held but i need my quick press to be my stats menu. Any ideas?

I know how to since I was messing about with it playing fortnite and wanted to build, and so I got two buttons, press and hold, but I put the long press low so it work, 2ms after I press and hold, it's really great, I'm still new to the steam, but I'm learning so much

Fortnite lol ya right. I have been playing fortnight since season 2 and there is no way to get fortnite to work with the steam controller. I have tried on may separate occasions also yes i tried GloSC

The theme is a new one I put together, stripped things down more and made the bars vertical. The voice equalizer is a plugin for OBS, obsproject.com/forum/resources/spectralizer.861/

I noticed you had a separate activator for your haptic on the LS. What's the difference with that and just putting it on the same activator as your input activator?

It's a different approach to what I covered here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aLKiasthvcynqWg.html In short it lets you have haptics when you have regular and long press. By default the long press will make the regular press haptics stutter and not feel right. I make them all no haptics and then apply haptics either on the outer edge or via a no interrupt empty binding.

Can you do İn steam controller extra button I want the raight trackpad push up/down/right/left=YXAB buttons and when I touch and roll my finger right joystick. I want it for fifa2020. Example when I roll the rigt combination player do skills and when I push down tracpad to pass other player. I send a message on instagram

I'm not sure. Was it after a recent update? I don't use my Steam Controller much for desktop navigation.

how can i get used to dual trackpads? don't want to rely on the stick it may wear out

I made it a challenge to myself after I started noticing some drift on my physical stick. It probably took me a good week or two to get the feel for it. Once you retrain old habits it'll feel natural. I actually prefer it now.

If you're playing a game that has sprinting then set it to an edge binding and then you will like using the trackpad a lot more because you have a wider range of movement also find something important that you would want to have on the Fly and set it underneath the trackpad and then every time you click you'll have that action and unlike a joystick you won't be pressing it by accident all the time or at least i kept knifing in cod on 360
