The butters episode is freaking hilarious. Also the one where butters is margarine though I forget what the name of the episode is. Butters centric episodes are always a hit.

Cash for Gold is a really great episode about Stan and his grandfather, and it's especially hilarious if you have older parents or grandparents.

I never played WOW, but a lot of people I know did. It was a massive thing at that time, and this episode was all anyone could talk about for a week after it aired.

This episode is actually the reason why I started playing World of Warcraft. 17 years later and still going.

This is my second favorite episode of South Park.

Definitely my favorite episode. Coming from a family where my dad, my sister, and myself all played WoW back in it's hay-day, having watched this episode when it first aired on Comedy Central while still engaged in playing WoW, was just so good.

It's great that Matt and Trey recently bought the real Casa Bonita in Denver, Colorado.

Luckily for Butters, Hello Kitty: Island Adventure is now a real game!

If ya'll are Reacting to specific episodes of South Park, if you two haven't and I'm assuming many others have also suggested this, but the "Good Times With Weapons" episode is well worth the watch. Otherwise known as the Anime episode, either or both should be able to catch at least some of the references.

The absolute best South Park episode I highly recommend is the one where their parents go to rent a movie for both the kids and the adults. The kids got Lord of the Rings and the adults got a porno. However the tapes ended up getting mixed so the kids ended up with the adult film and the adults ended up with lord of the rings. I promise that episode is more than worth it.

It's one of the most iconic episodes ever made! And as to your statement, yes. WoW was and still is a ton of fun! Theres tons of new content, and the graphics are improved. After this episode of South Park, the World of Warcraft devs added the sword to the game, it's also in the trading card game, it's also in hearthstone (a digital trading card game).

For those of us who did play WoW this was a huge deal. A bunch of us got together and watched it at one of our houses. It was kinda thrilling to see. They took a lot of liberties with the game mechanics but who cares? They captured the spirit of the game pretty well! (Also the spirit of the griefing no-life beatches who lived to spoil everyone's fun.)

Being an already longtime WoW player when this came out, i got every reference aswell as every mistake they made with the game, which i have no doubt were put in purposely to aggrevate the nerds. Matt and Trey wanted to make this episode as at one point they said WoW was on computer screens in the studio about as much as the South Park animation program was, as both them and the crew were addicted to the game, and thus making fun of themselves as well.

A little detail I like is that usually the villain is shown relaxing and laid back in his chair as he goes around killing people's characters since they pose no challenge to him, but when he is fighting the boys he is forced to actually sit up and try.

Watch episode 10x7, “Tsst”. It’s about Cartmen vs The Dog Whisperer… lol 😂

I love this episode despite never playing WOW. I'm not a mouse and keyboard guy. I grew up playing console games with a controller in the early 90s and I always will. But if they made it available on a console I'd give it a try.

The guy who's essentially been named "the warcraft guy" is actually based off of, and modeled after the father of that "pirate software" guy Thor. His dad worked for blizzard and helped the south park guys edit and make this episode, and they made him into a character and eternalized him in the show. lol

This is my favorite episode, but I have been a WoW player off and on since launch. The ninja weapon or chinpolomon episodes are fantastic too.

You want to know what's funny is the guy that keeps killing are for protagonist's players in world of Warcraft and everybody else. That is the man who actually worked on world of Warcraft his son owns a game studio independently called pirate studios and it's actually he confirmed it.

If you want another great episode slightly focused around Butters, I recommend "Jared Has Aides" from season 6.

I love how much you are discovering the main characters through these random episodes but I think its time to dive into the Legend and true main character that is RANDY MARSH
