I have been trying to set this up on Printify, but after uploading my design it is quoting me $12 shipping cost. Is this correct? What am I missing? No one is going to pay $15 for a 2” sticker just to cover the production and shipping with $0 profit. Even in your example at 2:48 - it’s $1.39 but shipping starts $4.29 - so are you paying that $5.68 per sticker sold?! Or am I missing something with the shipping. Is that for each item? It seems like you have to charge quite a bit to make it worth your while and like I said when I inputted my design it was telling >$12 just for shipping

Hi! Thanks for your video! Have you tried making the kiss cut vinyl decals? It seems this type of sticker would be better to sell for water bottles since it’s water resistant. I was wondering why this type of sticker is cheaper than the kiss cut sticker which you’re referring to in your video.

I am opting to print at home. The cost of shipping is three times the amount of the sticker! I can ship them way cheaper AND make it a pretty package to show the customer I care. But these are helpful tips thank you

So just to be sure... a sticker sheet is basically one sheet with four separate stickers on it. You might do this instead of just selling a bundle of four individual stickers? What is the advantage of the sheet part?

The shipping costs means you cannot compete in the market. You would have to list for around $7 for just 1 sticker to make a profit. When your competitors list 10 stickers for just $3 or $4 dollars. An that is if you are selling to the American market. If you sell to UK, you would have to list your item at $13 dollars for just one sticker! 😮

Exactly. No idea why people keep recommending printify for stickers. Idk anyone who buys stickers for $8… you’re better off buying in bulk or making them at home 🤷🏼‍♀️

I uploaded my first sticker with printify recently but was really put off by the high shipping, I've now just swapped over to prodigi who are based in the UK and the shipping is alot more reasonable!

Could you tell me how? Their smallest sticker price without tax is 0.85 euros + 6.95 euros shipping to USA = total 7.80 euros + tax. It is not better at all :-( @@Naimah_Vlogs

New to selling, but need a few tips. I'm using LD glossy photo paper. They've stood the nail test (ink does not scratch off), but in the end, they're pretty much stationary use only. No using on things you're going to wash, like cups or water bottles. Do people simply not buy stickers for anything other that sticking on abrasive or wet applications (cups, back of phone which goes into the pocket, etc)? Do people ever buy stationary stickers for use on desk, pc case, appliance (sewing machine etc), bedroom doors etc etc.. If I list my stickers on etsy, and discretely note that these are non-laminated, non-waterproof (paper, not vinyl), but people get mad and say they're not durable, what should one do? I haven't listed or sold any yet, but wary for these issues that might come up. LD photo glossy paper is $25 for 200 sheets, super deal. Even if I laminated these, I don't know if they'll be waterproof still (condensation on the surface of the cup might still weaken the bond). I'd like to simply market stationary and not waterproof sticker, is that a thing?

Try printing on vinyl stickers. They are waterproof so I think you can put them on water bottles.

Super as always! Can we copyright our stickers of our own ideas when using elements and fonts through Canva, Kittl, etc.? I sent some in for copyright and a couple of them were denied stating that they were not able to be copyrighted even though I let them know that I paid for the pro elements and fonts and were my designs and wording, thoughts, etc.. I arranged the elements and such. Thanks!

That’s a great question! All their elements are free to use for POD, but I don’t know if you can copyright them since the elements are accessible to every user.

Absolutely! I think the only time you really have to make a separate store is if you are selling digital products alongside physical.

@@juliekwong4932 it is allowed. Just clearly state the difference in your listing images, do add a digital product stamp on your digital products. This will also improve your click through to purchase rate

@@MareSimone1 on your main listing product image, create a quick graphic that has the words 'digital product ' inside, example - a circle with digital product inside. Match the circle with the colour scheme of your image. This is the stamp, informing the customer immediately that it is a digital product, before they have even clicked into your listing. This will also create higher conversion rate.

Hey! Was thinking of starting a new Etsy shop selling POD stickers, but I'm really worried about the shipping price. Even if the sticker is around $2-3, the shipping price will bring it to $6-7 for just one sticker. Anyone have any advice/tips for this?

My stickers that I have designed have a white outline, but it is not crisp. Will Printify fix that, or do I need to fix that before uploading to Printify?

You don’t need to add any white outline. You just upload the image and then printify will print with a white border.

Ya I feel like having to price the drop shipping stickers to make a profit including the shipping price isn’t worth it. You can’t compete with that when other people tend to include free shipping with their stickers. People will just go somewhere else when they get a cheaper product :/ I’ve been looking into it

@@stephaniemoore2543 Create products that stick out (no pun intended). There are people out there that will buy and if you get alot even if your making a little, it will add up. Remember, people will pay thousands for a basic white t shirt. Good luck on your journey ☮️

The trick here you must sell bundles because the first item is 4 bucks and the others are .09 cents shipping so you want to sell bundles of stickers if they want just one I’d message them and be like ok but… lol

I typically make all available, just make sure you pay attention to pricing because larger sizes are typically more expensive.

Trying to add a 4 sticker bundle and I try to save on Kittl the 825x525 at 300 dpi but it keeps changing before I can save. What am I doing wrong? It also loads the sticker on Printify a different color than the one I created. I don't quite get it. Thanks for your tutorials Hannah!

As long as the pixels are the right amount you don’t have to worry about changing the dpi. Also, the sticker comes in normal and holographic. Is that the one you were looking at?

@@hannahebeling Most of mine have the white border, do I need a border or will the Printify automatically create one? It's a battle to keep the pixels at the desired size. I have the size correct in Kittl and then when I click to download PNG it automatically changes the size again.

Make sure that you are not downloading with a background. Also check that you are downloading the right layer.

Question for you, because i am looking to start something like this. How do you handle that nearly $5 price for shipping 1 sticker? that on top of the $1.20 ish charge for making it, looking at nearly $6 for a sticker, not including your profit.

How do you deal with shipping cost for your stickers? Because shipping is more than the sticker itself and you have Etsy Fees? Which means you would be losing money, unless you add shipping to the cost of the sticker. Which means the sticker isn't a $1.xx. I'm just curious because I'd like to sell stickers, but I don't see how it's profitable using P.O.D. I have a sheet of stickers right now that I had to price at $17 for six stickers that are decals type. If I sold them any cheaper I'd lose money. Plus they are art stickers not just text.

Am I missing something when it comes to printify and etsy, I created a sticker listing with the method that you showed on this video. For selling one sticker on Etsy I have to listed at $8 go get one dollar in profit, the reason I have to price the sicker at $8 is because what printify charges for shipping is too high. Can you tell me what am I doing wrong?

Surprisingly people will pay a decent amount for large stickers, but personally I feel the sticker sheets do better because people get more for a simile price.

I find it really expensive. You rather make stickers by yourself or make a digital files and sell them so they can get many stickers for good price and they will print themselves

@@hannahebeling Correct, but how do customers know? if its around $5 for the shipment, and about $1 for the creation, are you just eating the ones that dont buy more than one sticker? Most stickers are going for $2.75-$3.75 if you sell one for $7, youre making maybe a $1 profit, if they buy 2, then you get a roughly $5 profit etc. But are people actually going to buy 2 stickers for $14? when they can snag 4 or more for that price? (genuine question, I am legitimately looking into all of this for my own start up)

My rule of thumb is always to look at similar products in the niche I’m targeting and go right around the middle. I don’t want to be lowest or highest.

For example, how to setup the listing so that the shipping is charged on the first sticker, but not for any others they add to the order since shipping for the first is so much more than even the cost of the sticker. Can you really break down how you would price and list the stickers so that you would actually turn a profit? I don't think I've seen anybody make that video. Thanks for all you do!

What happens if the Etsy customer opts to return their purchase?

I don’t allow returns in my store (this is clearly stated for customers in my shops) unless there is a problem with the item. In that case printify would make it right for the customer. In some cases there’s a situation where you might allow a return or exchange to salvage a customer experience and you would just eat the cost of the stickers.
