Oh I love these and can see how they would be fiddly. I will do some as soon as I get a smaller punch as I'm not going to be cutting out a bunch of circles by hand. Thank you so much for showing us 2 different ways to make these and how easy it is to decorate the 2nd one. That is how I did your last 3 Mass Making items, all assembly line: all cutting, then all folding, etc., etc. I started storing mine in a clear plastic shoe box from Dollar Tree which works good, but would love something taller for when I get more of the Mass stuff done, I think you have the right idea for photo boxes. BTW, I think you did an awesome amount considering that you decorated one and cute all of the circles and put all of those brads in. ☺♥

As a newbie, I found this quite helpful. I'm a slow learner so watching how something is done more than once is very beneficial. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to making some of these.

I love watching people craft. And usually have a crafting video going while I craft myself. Lot of people try and make shorter videos so the viewer won't loose interest and I find those a bit annoying because I have to keep starting new videos all the time with glue and paint on my hands. Love that yours are a but longer and you also make such pretty things.

I haven't made these yet. It is always good to make a bunch beacause it helps you remember how to make them and it saves time. It was still good to see you decorate one and see an example. Still loving the series... I know you have more good things up your sleeve... :)

This is a great tutorial, Tina, and because of your quick, no-measure technique, I’ll definitely give this a go. I LOVE the idea of mass making ephemera ahead so it’s ready to use! Thanks for the inspiration! I think I’ll use crochet thread instead of the thicker string; I have lots (it’s so easy to find in thrift stores!), and it will be easier to wind around the brad. As I watched you, I was thinking that if you have a specific item (card, whatever) you want to go into the policy envelope, you could use it as a guide to determine the body size, then add enough extra for overlapping flaps in the back. I have some photos I want to send to a friend, and I’ll be putting them into a cute, personalized, handmade policy envelope that fits them perfectly, thanks to you! Others have made good suggestions about how to make the construction less fiddly, and I appreciate everyone’s input! Again, thanks very much for sharing your bit of inspiration with us, Tina! 😊

I love this series, it's right up my alley. I love the mass production/assembly line idea. I have one suggestion, could you please show how the item in each series is used in the journal. I loved your video and am enjoying the series. I did have a thought about the string. I tied the string around the bottom brad, then looped it with the top brad. I glued the flaps closed and it works fine. Just a thought.

I like your method of gluing the string on the back so you can decorate the front. Thanks for sharing

Hi Tina, I just watched Jessica Rapp's video on Simple string Closures. I love her idea of the circle closer's. I think that you will like it too. Also The Boeheim's Craft's channel has a video showing how she use's her Big Bite. Which that's how I learned. You'll have to just go to her video's and there's a picture of the Big Bite in front of her video. That's the one she's shows you how to use it after making many mistakes that she has made, just like us. I hope this will help you, crafting is always fun when you can make it easier to gets things accomplish. Have a wonderful Saturday Tina!!!

I love these! I hope you read this after all this time but I have a couple of time saving tips. If you want to thread your string right through then maybe a darning needle which has a large eye would help. The other thing is to stick your excess string & the back of your brads with a little washi tape or some micropore tape. No waiting for glue to dry or worrying you'll catch whatever you insert. I love eyelets but find them tricky to set without mangling them!

(Maybe put the circle & brad in only the top piece of paper and adhere the two together so the brad is nestled between the two, and that circle & brad is the one that has the string around it dangling from the top circle & brad from the flap... )

Thank you again for a very UN-boring video. I am thrilled when you embellish/decorate what ever you are mass making because it helps add to the inspiration. One question - since you are putting the string on the back of the card, when you put the card in your journal do you glue the back of the card to the page? If you mentioned this I missed it.

Just an idea here: how about making your decorate piece but just before you put it on, then add the bottom circle in the middle of the decorated panel ,easier to punch and secure and less string shows, would that work too? Just an idea, kind of a compromise! Anyway either way your work is lovely. And I love building my ephemera basics up¡

Love these envelopes, so TFS 🥰 You could use a needle and get your tread thru the two holes - easy peasy! But this video is filmed a while ago, so maybe you do that now 🤗 x

I can't get my cropadile to work either, I found another type of one in the sewing section at hobby lobby, and the eyelets are different.. Works perfect!

Hi, My name is Margaret, I'm using my hubsbands iPad, shh don't tell him 😊. Thank you for this video, I've been making some of these little envelopes, but I've been adding the little circle before I close the envelope up, that way anything I add to the envelope doesn't get caught in the Brad.
