Make Quick Selections in Lightroom Classic to dodge and burn

Lightroom recently added support for an all new way of selecting people for local adjustments, most often used for dodging and burning. I love this update and use it all the time to brighten or darken backgrounds and people in my photographs quickly.

It’s pretty great and love the ability to invert/add or subtract to it. Makes it a lot more powerful

Hello! I bought the R5, 6 months ago and I struggle so much to get same colors as I do with my 5D4. I use Lightroom camera profiles. Please help, TIA

Hello Brett. I am just sick of R5’s skin tones. Could please share a 1DX3 raw portait, I want to check it’s color and leave the mirorless lineup. Tia

I no longer own a 1DX3. But have not had any color complaints about the mirrorless bodies personally.

@@BrettCarlsen Well as sports photographer you probably don’t care as much about colors and skin tones as beauty, wedding and generally portait photographers. If you dom’t mind a constrctive critisizm, please look back on you both photos and videos and rank the skin tones from 1 to 10.

I make most of my money doing journalism and portraiture. I use X rite color checkers and build a profile when color is critical as I have with all my Canon bodies over the past 12 years.
