Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

@Dolemite5194 Nah, it's the strongest with straight lines, but corners create structural weaknesses, so arches are better. You can build a bridge out of stone that will support itself without any mortar if it's an arch

I really like this lineup. This whole task in particular was filled with gold, from Mae saying they brought the potato from home, to Jenny's "fuck that!", I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the series.

Jenny has the same mannerisms as a lady I used to work with and it’s absolutely hilarious When she was discussing the potato on the turn to Mae all I had in my head was this lady discussing the menopause with a colleague 😂

No, it wasn't an attack, it was to honor Joe Wilkinson. TM often pays respect to the past. They did the "sit on a cake" task in Season 12 as a shout out to Liza Tarbuck making Alex sit on a cake in Season 6. The AHOY sailor hats in the barge task is a straight up call to John Kearns' prize task. There are other "shout outs" but these are two clear examples off the top of my head. Anyone got some?

In Season 13 there was a "find the ducks in the lab" task, and they used the puzzle box that Phil Wang brought as a prize task (that drove James Acaster to impatiently call Greg the P-word). TM is constantly giving props to the past.

Some of us are in other countries, though, and *can’t* watch it on their app. All that’s left for us is questionable ways, which theoretically eat into their profits, nullifying that whole point. Would rather just have full tasks, tbh.

KZfaq has cracked down on what videos can and cannot be monetized. Too much cussing or cussing before a certain number of seconds into the video will get it demonetized. A lot of channels have had to alter their editing and even rewrite scripts. Obviously, Taskmaster is better with the swears (Greg Davies just isn't the same without the fucks lol), but we're getting these clips for free so let them do what they have to do to keep the views monetized.

Much like previous bridge tasks... This included 0 bridges... A bridge by definition is a raised pathway over something else... These are just weird potato platforms. They are noticably never pathways as nothing traverses the surface of the bridge in anyway.

I do have a question about Jenny, Kiell, and Mae's try at making the tallest potato bridge. A part of the task says that "if anything touches the red green, you must put everything back where you found it, tut and go back to the drawing board". Technically, the shadows of the team and the objects could be construed as a part of "anything". Have they broken the rule since the task never specifically said it had to be a physical thing?
