This is so much easier than making a new line. Wish I would have seen this before I spent $ on a roll of brake line and flaring kit. I've been procrastinating and haven't done the delete yet so I'm just going to go ahead and order a disk and do it that way instead. Thanks for the video and your old man's wheels are sick!

One of the first mods I did. It makes all the difference with these and the 2nd gen trucks. Night and day better driving experience. You can actually have a predictable bite with the clutch every time.

Thank you for providing this, and not in a 15 minute video. This is not a complicated procedure, and doesn't need a lot of explanation. With that being said, did Trent ever end up installing the plate made to accomplish the same thing? I finally found one and ordered it, because I want mine to be reversible, but I'd like to know how they compare in clutch behavior.

Why did you grind it? The instructions said it was basically plug and play besides bleeding the system.

Just put the brass disc in. Its not that expensive, you don't have to grind, it's reversible, and it fixes the clutch. Easier to sense where it grabs and feels more like a traditional manual transmission is supposed to.

I have 112k miles on my Tacoma and I have noticed that the clutch feels different on a cold morning. It seems jumpy and "grabby". Is this because of the accumulator? Other than that, it shifts fine except for 2nd gear sometimes. 2nd gear seems like a struggle to get into when down shifting. Anyone complaining that the Tacoma clutch is heavy must have never driven a manual with a manual clutch.
