Make Exfoliating Coconut Loofah Soap Tutorial - VERY EASY!! Today’s tutorial features coconut loofah soap. This project is very easy & requires only a few supplies. This soap cleans, exfoliates, & moisturizes. It's also very convenient!
RECIPE: 5 ounces coconut soap base (melt & pour) & 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) coconut fragrance oil.
NOTE:*** Make sure the loofah you purchase fits in the mold you plan on using. Pour the batch in 2 layers; pour the first one on the loofah & at the bottom of the mold. Wait for the first layer to dry so it anchors the soap down when pouring the second layer. This soap is awesome; it’s so simple & convenient & it works great. The loofah exfoliates & the coconut soap cleans & lightly moisturizes. The coconut soap base was perfect for this; it's very foamy, lathery, bubbly, & produces tons of suds. This soap came in handy when I tried out a new lotion bar that left a greasy film on my hands & plain soap wasn’t cutting it. 15 seconds with the loofah got it right off! The great thing about this bar is that 1 side has the loofah & the other side is mainly soap- so it gives you a choice. And, my favorite feature of all - the string!! I don’t own a soap tray so this was perfect! Hang it on the faucet or your shower. Also, when the soap gets used, the loofah will be worn & old so just throw it away & start with a new one! I feel like this would be the perfect bath item to travel with (it's a 2 in one). I also feel like it’d be great to scrub your feet with!
