Making Melt and Pour Loofah Soap

3 жыл бұрынIn this video I show a how to make loofa soap with melt and pour soap base. I found it best to soak the loofa in water before adding it to the soap mold or cutting it down. This is a simple way to get a super rough exfoliant bar of melt and pour soap.

So happy I came across your channel! I love you how informative and thorough you are , I also like how you show us your experimenting. It makes me want to do more experimenting myself. I am only doing melt and pours. I never new how to do swirls or layers so thank you for your videos about this. I hope you can make some more melt and pours :) I'm a fan :).

Coffee has been the fav so far. I didn’t spray the loofahs with alcohol, but will now. I dried mine but maybe that’s not necessary. Nice to see how someone else does it

A lot of people do them dry as well. I just felt the soap absorbed into the sponge better.

Plant based Loofa naturally breaks down in about a month, so provided its non synthetic, don't worry about getting any down the drain.

Came out really nice! I’ve only worked with MP. I’ve been a little scared of CP but I just ordered the lye so I am about to go ahead and try it lol do you have a video showing how beginners should start with CP?

I do have a few beginners recipes on cp soap. All of my cp videos have the full recipe with measurements. Depending on what oils you have on hand you may want to watch a few videos. This is a pretty basic recipe. You can mix it to get your desired consistency. I will work on making a simple recipe too.
