This is a 1/8th scale model of a Canon de 12 Gribeauval from the early 1800s - this model of cannon would be a favourite of Napoleon's, who dubbed them his 'belles filles'.

I'd love it if you sold a version with just the cannon. Maybe put a handle (or not) on it and use it as a hand cannon!

a little sad this isn't made for the rockets or for the pool noodle darts as someone else recommended (not sure how to seal those off at the tip cheaply)

This looks about 1/6-1/8 scale yeah? If you designed a period appropriate 1/6 scale carriage that could hook up to existing 1/6 scale horses to go with it? 🤔... You'd definitely get a LOT of attention from the figure and doll crafting communities. Lots of 1/6 scale war history ppl out there.

Wait there are people doing 1/6th scale modelling? I only made it this size so the nerf dart would be the "right" calibre :P Link please :P I did want to make a carriage originally, but the project took ages and it was hard enough to find references for the gun carriage! Of course, with the axles and wheels already designed the hard part is done. And yes I considered making horses. Or a hexapod spider to haul it :P
