I ended up buying perfectvision compression style pins but when it came it was for head end style mini rg59. And now all my pins are waste. Until i buy those expensive cable. 😢.... I have wasted few just using few. Also had to buy that expensive tool too.. 😅

What is the compression tool doing that the crimp tool is not?

Magic! To be honest, I'm not sure, but it makes a much more secure connector for me. I think the entire connector is shrunk down/compressed onto the cable in a circle, rather than the crimp tool just reshapes the sleeve into a hexagon that squeezes it only in some parts.
