Love your videos so much! You give us so much practical good advice. Thanks! I also use warm water- makes a difference. I also like those nubby rubber scrubbing things to help. After the cleansing, I use a dab of linseed oil and a very fancy tool to brush my small brushes- a toothbrush!! 😎then the big brushes get a boar bristle brushing and/or a nice fine tooth comb.

YES - make sure you use warm and not hot. Hot can loosen the glue holding the bristles. Tooth brushes are the super fancy tools ha ha ha

Hullo Wild, I am truly enjoying watching your videos on the Chelsea Lavender Products! I am just so glad to see a painter and artist I like get into these products! I have recently purchased a couple brands of water soluble oil paints and I am wondering if the Chelsea line of mediums, cleaners are compatible? You have demonstrated that the cleaning fluid is as well as the soaps too! I am a Paint Puck user and I believe that these little silicone disks can really help keep my brushes clean and last longer! I use them in all of my cleaning cups. I even took the coil out of one brush cleaning jars and replaced it with a Paint Puck! It really works great! I don’t use water for thinning or mixing my water miscible paints, I use each brands medium, I am curious about how the Chelsea lean, fat, and other products work for you? So far I have had no problems, but I am always trying to learn more! Thank you for sharing your expertise and knowledge with the rest of us! Please take care and enjoy a lovely day!

The CS cleaners will work on water soluble oils - The only big difference I have noticed is it takes a little longer for the cleaner to seperate from the pigment when recycliing. I will have to look at that paint puck - thanks for the suggestion. What would you rate it out of 10?

Cleaning the brushes "at the end of the day" is just useless waste of time and huuuuge mistake. You cam also damage your expensive brushes in process when you do it regurarly. You can safely keep your brushes in oil between everyday sessions and clean them once per 3-6 months and thats it.

You are right if you have or plan on having "every day sessions" BUT most only get to paint a few times a month... If even that.
