I think watching your video on power hammer construction has provided a proven concept that may be scaled up for different applications. It truly has added confidence and motivation for the viewer to make one tailored to their needs. The crank plate, revolving mass the frame and moter work together to become an excellent resource for inspiration. Thanks for the model

Thank you for putting this video out there, Been trying to build power hammer for many years, sourcing parts and pieces, but hadn't seen the proper build of this type until now, of course ours will be majorly over sized, using a 3 inch (76.2mm) hammer shaft with a 5 inch (127mm) anvil shaft, again thanks for the inspiration and information!!!

I love that at the end of the video you can see he's been wearing croc's during this entire build. I'd love to know how many time he's burned his feet while welding.

Only if you are only doing very small items. Sure, it will smash the crap out of your finger, but not very good for forging heavy metal. But as someone else mentioned, nothing stopping people from making it bigger.

Im puzzled as to why you would set it so low to the ground? Nice concept, seems to work well if your going to squat the whole time your using it. I would have also opted for a larger hammer that motor looked like it could handle 30 or 40 pounds of rotation force.

@@clubsoda85cook55 he builds what he saw feet of serving the scale of projects he usually works on . He can put it on top of a table if he wants to. You are looking for the problems, not the main idea of it. If you build one, no1 is stopping you from making it 10 times bigger .

Đầu trên của cây sắt làm búa thì hàn 2 chết 2 cái kẹp, đầu dưới theo tác động lâu ngày sẽ bị tù ra vì va đập, thế muốn thay 2 cái bạc đạn cây sắt thì tháo ra bằng cách nào????

With no other changes aside, moving the offset on the drive wheel, in or out from the motor shaft will affect both speed and shift lift distance

One suggestion is use linear bearings not pillow blocks does the job all the same but linear bearing will last much much longer

Esos rodajes verticales no son necesarios buena intención pero tienes otras formas más sencillas que los puedes hacer felicidades por compartir tus ideas que gracias a tu inspiración enciendes a más formas para mejorar la calidad de tu trabajo si lo realizó gustoso compartiré también lo que haré tu a partir de ello puedes mejorar tus proyectos

The last two bearings have been used exactly for what they were designed

No those were designed for rotation of a shaft, not linear sliding of a shaft in and out. A simple stationary pipe guide would have worked just as well likely

Именно голыми руками и надо, нам еще в школе запрещали в перчатках сверлить - если зазеваешься, то перчатку с рукой наматывает на сверло только так...

@@user-so1ug9go8s, нас учили фиксировать деталь зажимами. Ведь если закусит, (а сверло немаленькое!) Не удержишь, хоть в перчатке, хоть без.

@@user-ih2ex2rn3m Нуу... Как сверлить. Он на очень высоких оборотах сверлит, почти как для дерева, как только сверля не горят. Я сверлю на медленных. Фиксатор это хорошо, сам плоскогубцами и ручными тисками держу.

Вроде и неплохо, но только как макет, а не рабочий агрегат, все соединения на болтах без шайб, втулок в подвижных соединениях нет, опять болты... Хотя неплохие идеи отдельных узлов есть...
