A makers gonna make and sometimes an idea pops into your head and you just have to try it to see if it will work. This is one of those ideas, a ring maker. I don't know if it will work but if it does it will make things easier in the future. :)

@@KoalityofLife lots of new projects my self. moved from ohio to TN last year. between garden stuff. house stuff. and fixing stuff while doing web design. it kept me distracted. but i try to always check on ya when i get a notifications. im sure i have missed a few. ill look back over the channel and tell some vids to play. and tell some more vids to play in a playlist to help get the view hours up :) have to message ya on facebook show ya some the art and things been up to.

I don't have a use for the coils as of now, but I have needed coils in the past and not been able to make them. Now i have a way to make them. :)

Very ingenious. I have tried to do something similar but different (bbq handles) it was very hard to get the swell/unwrap uniform.i was using my forge and spring steel… not sure but it was a fail. Maybe try your idea and wrap some mild steel first.

Thank you, I need to make a set of fireplace tools, might use this spring wrap as the handles. :)
