I would love to see a tutorial demonstrating the application of bronzer and contour and the difference between the two. So many people use these interchangeably and they're meant to do very different things.

Thank you for doing videos like this. I think I used to have handle on doing my makeup, but then I woke up oneday knocking on 50, and realized my eyeshadow game was out of place!! I had no eyebrows, but too much highlight! I used some tips from your last video about eyeshadow, and felt so great about it!!!

Thanks Angie! I’ve been using the Caviar Sticks for a couple of years about 50% of the time. They are great if I’m in a hurry. Your viewers might want to watch Shelbey Wilson’s channel as she is a huge fan of Caviar Sticks and has several detailed videos on application. She is only 27 ( obviously not mature!) but has great tutorials on cream eyeshadow. I’m 72 and find cream works as well as powder. Sometimes I combine them! Thank you again for your tutorial.

I was just going to mention that Shelby Wilson is a big fan of cream eyeshadows--- the caviar sticks ---and she can tell you which are the dupes for the caviar sticks (Revlon had some cream eyeshadow as well) Also she has hooded eyes even at age 27, so she knows a lot of tricks about how to do eyeshadow for hooded eyes. Her eyeshadow looks are great, and she had a warm sweet personality.

Love this type of look for a daily work look. I bought the Caviar stick set and stilla liquid eye shadows set at the holidays and the both give great day to evening wearable looks for me. Much better investment for me than a palette. Keep the simple wearable looks coming!

I like it. My eyes are very sensitive to the tiny powder particles in regular eyeshadow, so I mostly avoid eyeshadow altogether. Maybe these stick type products are worth trying for me.

I have hooded eyes and I've watched so mant tutorials - this is the FIRST time I've ever understood what people mean by the dark color makes the bone receed actually means. I see it! I honestly just skip eye shadow because I struggle with the hooded eyes. Stopping with just one shadow and showing your other eye was so helpful, thank you!

Hi Angie such a great video as as we mature using a cream shadow can be so simple and effective. You could always use your powder bronzer in the crease too (if you already have one on hand) if you didn't want to use the cream in the crease. The Stila kitten shadow is so pretty a beautiful touch for an evening out. Thanks Angie!

That was great! Thanks. I use cream eye shadow almost all the time. It's easy , it's quick and I wear glasses, so I feel it is a nice look without being too much. I have that issue with Urban Decay powder eye shadows. Not as much with my Tarte palette. It's definitely a challenge, which is why I'm thinking of trying cream shadow.

My go to daily look for work is to use a LM caviar stick all over the lid and part way into the crease (rose gold is my favorite). Then I put a neutral matte powder in the crease (frequently MAC Malt). I add a highlight shade inner corner and sometimes darken is the outer V. Takes me about 3 minutes and I’m done. Always look polished and it lasts all day.

Thank you for all the videos and the bubble personality! I have been binging on your videos the past couple of weeks, and rewatching a number of them so I can get into some of your amazing routines. I just got my 'c' shaped pillow yesterday based on your recommendation to move to sleeping on my back to help hooded eyes and dark circles. I have been sleeping on my back for a couple of weeks now and I swear I see a slight difference in the dark circles and bags. By the way, I LOVE the pillow, thanks for the recommendation. I have also been practicing the makeup methods and will say that I have gotten compliments in the past two weeks, and been told I'm beautiful by strangers, definitely helping the ego. Even my 18 year old daughter is complimenting my look these days! Looking forward to the next video!!!

Being 63 I'm loving cream makeup more and more. I've also enjoyed the shadows in pots and tubes. I use a concealer brush which is a little firmer than a shadow brush to help apply. Thanks.

Daniel, so true! And the mentality that goes with those "Haul" videos encourages young people to way overspend when often that income is needed elsewhere in the family budget. I've seen more than 1 video with someone commenting they didnt have money to buy a certain makeup product one week bc they purchased another. And these are young Moms, not women who needn't worry about the expense. Often they have a few of those huge expensive eyeshadow pallets, but dont even use them because they want to buy another new one. Those things are a waste, anyway, since most people only use 3 or 4 out of 16 to 20 shades. I just feel like when you are using the "afterpay" system to buy what is out of reach financially, try to change a few things. Maybe stop watching the videos if one can't use self control.

I'm about to switch from glasses to hard contact lenses. It's recommended that I avoid using powder eye makeup and waterproof mascara because both drop particles into the eyes. I was delighted to see this tutorial about cream eyeshadow! I tried it and I love the way I look! Thank you, Angie!

Thank you! I know you said folks wanted to see using fingers, but I'll just note that I'm an avid cream eyeshadow user, and they look much better/smoother, when blended with a brush. What's nice is you don't have to use expensive brushes... I find synthetic brushes actually work best with cream shadows.

@@trinablum7102 I like using the BK Beauty 203 shader, or the Real Techniques 301 Base Shadow brush. But any synthetic brush with either of those shapes would work well. You can also use something like the BK Beauty 204 Smudge it brush to blend close to the lash line for a smokey liner look.

Cream eyeshadow looks much better on my crepey eyelid than powder eyeshadow. I actually got discouraged from wearing makeup alltogether for years, as powder eyeshadows made me look older, and my skin look creapier and very dry. Since I discovered cream eyeshadows- wow, such a huge difference. I actually like to have eye makeup now.

I am with you Angie!! I HATE LM Caviar Sticks. They always stay tacky on my lids and crease after a few hours, even when I use eyeshadow primer. I love Bobbi Brown shadow sticks. I moisturize, let it soak in then they work great! I don't even have to use a primer 👍
