I admire when someone can have fun vlogs but also knows how to be in the moment! Now I want to go to a Johnny Appleseed festival. In Ohio I mostly just hear about the smaller fairs.

Love your brush pouches and touch up kits. I use lip sample, two blotting sheets and business card in mine. I may start doing the lash glue as well. You rock!!! I wanna start doing the brush bags per client as well! I know it will be way more organized and easier!!!

Hi there! Thank you SO much! I used the Viseart Neutral Mattes palette for her entire eye look :) There is a dark brown shadow in it that has a purple base to it that is STUNNING!

Love the idea of touch up kits! Are you giving them a full tube of lash glue? Or are you filling an empty tube?

Yes! My brides really appreciate them :) No, I get empty eyeliner tubes off of Amazon and put about a quarter of the lash glue tube in one!

What makeup chair do you use? I need to get one. I pack my entire kit in a huge suitcase now bc my back and carrying so much stuff was so annoying!!! I wish I had an assistant sometimes but with the suitcase it’s way easier now I mean everything is in it except my purse!

I always wanted the brush belt but I feel like I wouldnt be able to see what brush im looking for “upside down” if you know what I mean😂😂 do u like tip it back to see what brush ure wanting?

Haha honestly I haven't really thought of it that way! Lol I've always worn one and worked that way so to me it feels normal, but I get how that would be weird if you aren't used to it!

Are you spraying the make up products directly with alcohol ? If so, do you find that it changes the formula ? I’m trying to figure out how to depot and clean powder products.

Hi there! Yes I do. Sometimes it does dry them out a tad but it depends on the formula of the product originally. If you’re afraid of this, try using the Beauty So Clean Spray :)

Hi Julie, Thank you so much for your helpful videos. I’m a travel makeup artists and am getting more into bridal. I would love to get your advice on this. What are the pros and cons of not having a suite to do makeup as a bridal makeup artist? I know you save money on rent by traveling but do you ever get 1 or 2 people that book you? If so, are they traveling to you or is it the other way around?

Hi Olna! First off, thank you so much! I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos :) Being a bridal artist is definitely a very fun area of makeup artistry!! For pros, I would say that it is definitely more convenient to have clients come to you and you also save time traveling that way so you can take back to back appointments if need be. Cons I would say would be the expense if you actually rented a place. I just work out of my home so I feel like its a win win! I haven't had a single person feel uncomfortable with coming to me,. However, if you are iffy about letting people in your house then that might be the only drawback. If a person has randomly booked me for an event non-wedding, then I have them come to me if need be, but if they need me to come to them then my normal travel fee applies :)
