Making the 3d metal skull was a fun and interesting project! I found this pattern on Thingiverse (link below), the design credit goes entirely to LesMarco.
the original was laser cut from wood but i decided it would be much more interesting to make it out of aluminum... cut on the waterjet!
the most difficult part of the process was the assembly, since there is no instruction on the assembly of the parts i made a few mistakes and had to take it apart a few times.
in the video you can see i had to hammer the pieces together... it was a tight fit and i never have to worry about them coming apart even though they are not glued together!
