Pre-drilling and pinning the tang before you drill through the handle was genius. I’ve been watching sword & knife making videos for years and this was the first time I’ve seen that technique. Great work!

I use the same technique on air hardened steels , but for plain high carbon you could just take the hardness out of the tang with a propane torch and heat the end of the tang .This allows you to drill straight threw everything.

The Damascus is beautiful. Excellent example of a multi functional knife, nice long blade for long cuts and ergonomic heel you can grip up on for delicate precise cuts. Brilliant video

I wish I had got a dad like this - somebody who would pass on knowledge, somebody to spend time with, build things with. It's a special thing that unfortunately a lot of people don't get. My dad just lives for himself.

Dad videos are great, nice slow speed perfect for relaxing at the end of the week with a dram of wiskey. Maybe have dad in the titles of the videos, since the pace is so different I prefer to watch these videos in the evenings, while Kyle is more upbeat and quick pace perfect to get energy

Having had a beautiful handmade chef's knife, and then Having it stolen most people will never understand the hurt it brings to a chef. Beautiful work sir ! Someone will be very lucky to have this blad in there knife bag.

the energy difference between Kyle and Jeff are tremendously different, I love it. The Asmr/lofi esque vibe Jeff gives off vs Kyle's upbeat almost educational kinda balance each other out

Wonderful skill in knife making. I'm surprised at how differently the dad's voice sounds from Kyle's. Kyle is energetic, more high pitched. Dad is just smooth, laid back, like a fine dark chocolate.
