Recipes:
Peach syrup: Add 1 can of peaches in heavy syrup into a pot, bring to a simmer and crush with a potato masher. After simmering for a few minutes drain the peaches to remove any pulp
Tea: Heat up 4 cups of water until nearly boiling. Add 8 teabags and let steep for 5 minutes (this is a tea concentrate). Add 4 cups of ice water to chill and dilute to a regular strength.
For the peach tea, I recommend keeping the tea unsweetened, and storing the peach syrup in a bottle of it's own. Add it to the tea at serving. Also save the syrups from the canned fruit as a tea sweetener.
Iced coffee: Brew half a pot of coffee with 3/4 of a cup of coffee (each quarter cup is rounded slightly on top) Add sweetened condensed milk to taste, and fill up the rest of the pot with ice water.
Roasted Potatoes: Thaw frozen steak cut french fries, cut into cubes. Toss in oil & roasted potato seasoning (I recommend 1 packet per 2 bags of fries, or 1/2 a packet for 1 bag of fries) Roast at 400 degrees for 45 minutes tossing halfway through.
Sausage gravy breakfast casserole: Brown & crumble sausage over medium high heat. Add 2 cups of water and country gravy mix. Stir the gravy so there are no lumps and heat until thickened. Shred the cheese. Mix biscuit mix with 1/2 a cup of milk and 1/2 of the shredded cheese. Add into the bottom of a greased 9x9 baking dish. Top with sausage gravy, and the rest of the cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
"Nutella" Stuffed Banana Nut Muffins: Mix banana nut muffin mix with 1/2 cup of milk. Divide into greased or lined muffin tins. Add a dollop of hazelnut spread in the center of each muffin, swirl the top with a toothpick. Bake at 400 degrees for 14 to 17 minutes
