I do a lot of shorebird and waterfowl photography from a canoe and this holds great interest for me, currently I use a rather clumsy standard Dry Bag which keeps my gear very safe but is a pain in A$$ to get stuff in and out of !!!!! Good video!

I think I’m more surprised at the price than in actual working, that’s impressively cheap when you consider it up against something like the peter McKinnon bag

yes i used the waterproof bags kayaking for months in scotland .. theyre great .tough rubberises canvas .put a camera bag inside the bag .. some are huge to fit rucksacs into them 😀😀 i never sunk mine in 3 years .. ( slightly different but same idea) Ortlieb hydraulic dry bags ,,, eee the things you do for science , brilliant video . i want one ..

im not trying to undermine snapchick here , but some tbings just arent available on amazon even though theyre pictured on amazon uk , SORRY UNAVAILABLE , Is what we get from amazon uk , its a real ass when youv searched and re searched .. amazon uk needs a serious update shake

10/10 on the pirouette 👏 Also I have actually thought a lot about the scenario where I would need a bag like this, like what if I was in a plane and it crashed or on a boat and it was sinking and I wanted to make sure my laptop and camera gear were safe if we went into water and had to swim or something. I'm glad I'm not the only psycho out there that imagines these scenarios and someone actually made this bad. 🤔

I love hiking in full on rain -i got a PEEK design sling which claimed WEATHER PROOF which it was not!!! So yes there is a need for actual weatherproof gear :) thanks for your video which was a true water torture test :)

Re buoyancy claims - I'd quite like to see that quantified. It looks like a volume of about 40-50 litres and 2 cameras plus 5 lenses might weigh 10kg so yeah, should be buoyant but I'd like some numbers. And although it may be buoyant it may be a bit naughty for them to call it a flotation device, if they are, because a flotation device should be able to keep an unconscious person in a face-up position. As for usefulness... If the gear is sufficiently vulnerable that it has to go into the bag then it can't come out of the bag in those conditions. 4:30 not sure your kick matches up to your running form.

Impressive demo.. What's the largest lens you managed to pack in it? After this global lock down, there are a few places I may want to go which may need a 400mm or 600mm lens.. 😁

My largest lens is the Sony 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3. It doesn't fit into either of the inserts, but if I used an insert designed for a large telephoto lens, there would be room to spare.

I like the look of that backpack but I could not find it on Amazon UK. Buying it off Amazon US is too expensive with all the import duties and VAT - Price: $139.00 + $88.93 Shipping & Import Fees to the United Kingdom plus VAT at 20% - Very disappointed!

yes me neither .. theres tons from lomo or ortlieb ..do the same .. with removable harnesses . i used them kayaking years ago theyre tough as hell and dont leak .. i prefer the roll up and clip versions , theres no zipper failure , i was a diver for 20 + years theyre really tough . try lomo uk ..they deliver in 24 hours 👍 oh and about £40

anything from the usa has heavy taxes ... lucky for us the uk version is £40 from lomo uk ( abreviation of lomond , as in loch lomond )

I'm pretty amazed by the quality, considering the price. Like you saw in the video, I was rough with the pack and I examined all of the connections/straps/etc afterwards. There were no areas that looked like the pack was even used. I looked at things like the stitches holding the straps on. Everything still looks new.

Hey sorry, the ultimate test would be some of your male counterpart youtubers doing the test in either a bikini or a speedo, if they could find one in the right size. I would buy one, if it were on Amazon here in Australia, which it isn't, unfortunately. However, I can guarantee that that backpack would be 2.5-3 times the cost price in the US, out here. Everything out here is overpriced. They're all trying to become multimillionaires in 10 minutes. It's one reason why so many out here shop overseas sites. Which, if I can find a seller that sends gear out here, is probably what I'll do.
