At some point I feel the floating watcher was harming more than helping, the pause it causes makes the game even harder to apm. Id like a season where they focus on making the game smoother to play rather than adding new mechanics

@@ahtoshkaa The problem isn't animations; the problem is that all animations are serialized, so they all happen one after another instead of simultaneously. So you have to watch the Discovered Demon being added to the hand, the damage dealt to the hero, damage undone by Soul Rewinder, and then the Floating Watcher procs one by one, instead of them all happening at the same time on the same trigger. This behavior is a core mechanic of how information is displayed in the client, and has been in the game since the initial beta a decade ago. I doubt the current devs even could change this, let alone want to.

@@ahtoshkaaI feel like that would have the same problem as skipping combats would have in that you would be forced to remove animations to be competitive. I like when by whole board glows after a buff and I like seeing urzul eat a minion. I feel like it wouldn't be that hard to make the game more playable with actions like preventing minions from dancing and allowing actions for animations like floating watcher but maybe that is asking too much from a poor indie company

the main thing slowing down the animations is the removing and re applying of armour due to soul rewinder procs. I play demons a lot and it causes me so many issues on turns where I need high apm@@james-s-smith

There needs to be an option called ‘ShadyBunny Demons’ that turns off animations 😂

I honestly have to admit that the new spells are quite boring in comparison to anomalies but I had the same feeling when buddies were removed from the game so Im sure it will get better than the current state of the game but regardless of that I still watch about every video you post even if the gameplay at the end of the day is boring sometimes I still enjoy listening to you talk and explain whats going on in the game and I think thats a big say for entertaining you are as a person! Keep up the good work!

With surf-n-turf and the buddy you can make any minion golden since it gives death rattle to any minions

surf and surf's spellcraft is "give a minion deathrattle: summon a 3/2 crab", so when you cast that on a minion, it now has a deathrattle during shop phase. That allows you to target it with the baby nzoth buddy that can instantly make any friendly deathrattle minion golden through its battlecry

Baby N'Zoth can turn minions golden if they have a deathrattle: Give a minion deathrattle with Surf N Turf-> turn any minion you want golden because they are now technically a deathrattle minion!

This is one of my favorite games, but oh man, do the animation speeds irritate me so much. APM comps are fun, but dealing with the animations in this game is the true final boss.
