I’m going to try and start crafting leather goods. I’ve been watching videos for years and I’m going for it!

The skill involved in producing a handmade piece is so much more than what is shown in this video. The want to learn the craft, to continue using the tools of the trade to produce the perfection that only a handmade item shows is so much downplayed. Where is the creativity, the individuality, the imagination, the feeling, the love of the craft? I can watch someone using their hands to make something for hours. Be it making bricks, a quilt, an inch of bobbin lace, or shoeing a horse there is an inevitable pride in carrying on tradition. We need to foster and support the arts. Beautiful job!

That’s the prettiest duffel bag I’ve ever seen! I’m newer into leather but I’ve already been asked to make some custom things for people. Being a stay at home dad I needed something to do to keep my mind busy and now I’m currently using the kitchen counter as my work area at night when my wife and kid are asleep. I turn you videos on every night that I’m working on stuff just to watch and learn as I go. I appreciate the hell out of your videos
