In this episode, I do a lot of rockwork before saying I'm not going to do any more rockwork before doing a lot more rockwork.
This episode was recorded in early April, hence why I'm replying to comments made a while ago. In fact, originally as I talk about in this episode I only wanted to release these episodes once I already have the footage ready for the next one, but I'm changing that now as I have zero footage done for the next episode and am not sure when I'll have the time or drive to start it. Plus, it's dumb for me to respond to comments that are several episodes old.

32:24 You could use alt s here to move all the vertices a bit away from the cliff. 57:10 Funny thing, in Big Blue, the entirety of lap 1 and 2 is just floating above the ground with no supports.

LOVE this series, it’s been a pleasure watching this track come together. One thing I’ve noticed in a few locations-in particular at the crest of the green path, and also after the two paths merge as it transitions to the conveyor section-is you end up being pretty blind to what’s directly ahead of you on the course. I’ve been trying to figure out how the Nintendo tracks avoid this, I wonder if making the profile of the road slightly concave would increase forward viability? I’m really liking the feel of industrial elements peppered into the volcano chambers, aside from the obvious Grumble resemblance I’m also getting a touch of Wario’s Gold Mine energy as well. Looking forward to the next video!

You're definitely right, it's actually been a concern of mine at the top of the green path especially and I've actually reprofiled that turn several times to try to combat it, but I may end up seeing if bigger arrow signs which I was going to add next episode may help. I'm less worried about the other spot because once it's an actual tunnel like I plan there will be walls to signal the turn.

36:00 not sure if you know this or you've figured out something else later, but you can "mark crease" the vertices to not make the shape change when subdivided

I believe I did start using that more with my 3DS Mario Circuit project so I am aware of it now along with a few other items.

No, in his community post, he said: "Just a heads up for anybody following the Making a Mario Kart Track series: the next episode probably won't be coming for at least over a month or two as I'll be going on a vacation soon and then Tears of the Kingdom will take up my free time after that.".
