This is adorable! I've always wanted to go to Mardi gras. If you ever come across the lumpy hot glue again you can iron it smooth. Just make sure you put parchment paper between the iron & glue. Don't press too hard or it may seep through the fabric. Test it on a scrap first to get a feel for it.
