Thank you so much. I just purchased a Stellaire XE1 & I love it. Please do more videos. I live several hundred miles from any dealers and so I rely on KZfaq for tutorials.

Cotton works fine if you use fusible mesh and hoop the stabilizer This looks a lot harder than starting with stabilizer and cutting only the fabric, rather than trying to line it up.

I just purchase Stellaire XJ1, and I found your video very helpful on how to make an iron patch. I just have one question, did you prewashed the denim fabric before embroider the patch?

No, because it was going on a diaper bag that wasn’t going to be washed much.

When making a patch, does the machine’s programming have options for a circle, square or rectangular borders?

thanks for the video. I just purchased a stellaire and trying to learn more about it. I love Disney so I am excited to use them. I was disappointed that you can’t resize the Disney ones to make them larger. But I digress - on your patch, why did you stitch first on the denim and then use a separate hoop for the remaining steps? Could you just continued in the original hoop to finish with the satin stitch?

I was also disappointed that you can’t resize the Disney designs. If I didn’t rehoop and left it on the denim when I went to cut it out the design it would of left those fabric fibers. I wanted it to have a clean satin stitch. Also you could use the same hoop I just did two different hoops to save time and be ready for video. Hope that makes sense.

I share this space with my grandmother and she also has a Brother VM5100, it was replaced last year with the VM 5200. Thanks so much

@@AdventuresFromKansas Wow, you gals are into the pricey machines! Great for you! I was looking at the VM5200 for awhile -- then I found out the price! I'm settling for the SE1900 to start. Any thoughts on the largest-hoop machine for the lowest price?

@@tkarlmann I haven't been to a shop in awhile but last year the machine I liked for a larger hoop was the NQ 1600. It has the 6x10. The best way to get a bigger machine is look at several dealers around you. There are sales especially this time of year when the new machines are coming out. We also have bough preowned ones. When others are upgrading. I have a friend have great luck with buying off Marketplace on FB but I would rather buy used from a dealer since they have checked it over.
