After PRIME melted their solid gold bottles into a crucible of virtually worthless metal, we had to take it upon ourselves to turn it into a gold bar, 10 kilogram gold bar that we could liquidate into cash. Best, believe, we had to make it perfect. Here's what it looks like inside the room where a perfect gold bar gets made.

*TIP* - use a torch to heat the mold before pouring. Also use the torch to flame the spout or point where it pours. Constant heat helps it flow and form smoother and easier.

just a question. why is the mold also not red hot? that should help with the metal assuming the mold wont make the gold stick to it when hardening the gold should just be melted in the mold itself. you might have to break the mold in to pieces but at least you would get a beautiful perfect gold bar.

Preheating the mold helps for a cleaner pour. Watch some gold refining videos😅 they explan why and how to get a clean bar.

Oxi accetelyne tourche to preheat the mold and keep the copper / silver in the alloy liquid as its lifted and pored . It needs to be pored in a reduction flame or argon gas to get that clean you so badly want

Put oil in the mold before pouring. That makes it smoother and burns off when you pour it.

Match the heat in the mold to the liquid gold, and that should come out cleaner. If you can add fine vibration to the mold as well, it would make it closer to perfect.

If you want a clean bar of gold pour it into cold water which would produce gold pellets and then you remelt the gold pallets into a bar of gold

The gold is hot enough but the mold isn’t anywhere near hot enough. they don’t even have a torch on it. Should have one torch on the end of the mold and have another right where the gold is gonna pour in. That is super impressive and would be awesome to hold in your hands.

true, they are very lucky that there wasn't any dirt or drop of liquid in the mold.... as that liquid gold would explode
