Your channel just popped up on my KZfaq screen and I love it! Just one look at your beautiful, and neatly made gnome peaked my interest. On the subject of fleece I’d like to mention that I buy Walmart blankets for two-fifty that are perfect for many crafts.

@@sherylmarco2882. They are near the sewing stuff, and bedding dept. They are only that cheap when it starts getting close to Christmas, and the ones that cheap are thinner. I don’t buy those ones for anything other than crafts.

Hi where do you get you beard material at? Joann have it very expensive. Also can I request a video how can you make the arm with felt instead wood ball an the end? And maybe different outfits too to dress you gnomes. Am not a sewing person so I don’t have a clue how to make outfits. Thank you for your tutorials am really enjoying it!!!

What type of fur did you use on the blonde Gnome with bunny? It looked like it had thread woven in. I really enjoyed all of your tips and suggestions. Thank you for sharing, Bonnie

Thank you Bonnie. The fur is a Mongolian fur I purchased a long time ago on Amazon. The backing to it is woven very loosely, making it hard to cut and work with.

Thanks Diana. I bet your blanket stitch would also look good on this hat and try not using the yarn and use blanket stitch also. You mentioned you are at craft Fairs. Any in the Chicago land area ?? With using your basic gnome body , can we decorate with our own creations and sell them ? Going to make some for gifts. I’m on disability and a very limited income. If I can sell some by word of mouth it would really help with the cost of my medication. Thank You from the bottom of my heart

Is there a way to get your patterns? I did a search on making gnomes as it is something I have wanted to try for some time now. I went to you tube and found your videos and you are so good with explaining things. I feel a little less anxious about trying it now but would love to get the patterns if I can.

I’ve been to your Etsy shop…but only can find your “Basic Gnome Pattern”. Wondering if it’s the only body pattern…or if there is another or more body patterns…?

Greetings Mary The “basic” is the main body. There are other patterns like the large (9 inch) and there are smaller body or cone body patterns to with some of the other patterns. My Etsy shop should list the other pattern sets and what they include. Thank you.

Hello Duane ! I love ur gnomes. Now I have a crazy question... I've been looking to Try to make my great grand daughter an "old St. Nicholas" gnome. With a coat something like you do. I do a little bit of crafting but never attempt any gnomes. Is this a possibility?

Yes you can use flannels. May be a little harder to sew as the material is thicker than felt or fleece.

I must admit that I am not that good at female gnomes. It may be a little while before I make a how to video on a girl gnome. I do have plans on writing another book that does include a female gnome so eventually I will have to work on making a lady.
