Making a steel sunflower for Ukraine

2 жыл бұрынI decided to make a sunflower to show support for the suffering people of Ukraine. The victims of the conflict is in terrible need of humanitarian help so I will auction the flower made in this video off to the highest bidder. All the money from the auction will be donated to the Red Cross, ICRC here:

They pumped up the Nazis with weapons. Now you suddenly began to worry about Ukraine. Why didn't you worry about the children of Donbass who were killed by Ukrainians for 8 years?

Что-то я не припомню ни одного уголовного дела связанного с этим, и уж тем более запрета на политическую деятельность. Хватит врать. Всем известно что Венгрия - вторая Белорусь. Сателлит Путина.

Thanks John! I was quite pleased with the video and how it all came out. Now I'm mostly depressed since people or trolls can't appreciate that I decide to raise money for humans (mostly woman and kids) in need.

But They are such a small number of your viewers that in the end their comments don't really matter. Its tough to have to deal with them, probably the most objectionable part of being on KZfaq. The other 99.9% of us are on your side.

You may be raising money for women and kids, but you are doing so with a statement of Ukrainian nationalism by using their flag's colors. You are entering into the arena of political discourse whether you like it or not, despite your attempt to keep your argument in the subtext. Go ahead, call me a troll, silence and cancel me. That said, I was a big fan of your work until you got political.

We also made sunflowers for the ukraine at the national school of blacksmithing in england and raised over £3000 for refugees. Very nice work and good on you for wanting to help the refugees.

I took a long stick & painted sunflowers on it for my mother . I am planning sunflowers . What you did my seem like a drop in the bucket . However they're are many drops going into that bucket , & what you did will inspire more drops . One day soon the bucket will be filed . Many people are helping . Many more will come to help too

The work you put into "stamping" the sunflower center was amazing...you have tremendous patience and dexterity! It would be wonderful if artisans around the world could produce items that could be auctioned off and the funds donated 100%. Your gesture in that regard is very commendable and humanitarian.

We did this exact thing in college. I must say this one is much nicer baring in mind we made about 500. So a much higher production so you would naturally expect lower quality in a short period of time. It’s nice to see support for Ukraine. Great job!!

@@user-rq8mz2qp2m С точки зрения банальной диалектики это какая-то насмешка. Каждый кто пишет "если ты против войны - ты против России" должен признать что для него "Россия - это война". Для меня Россия - это моя родина. И она погибает от этой войны. Не от других войн, в которых участвует Россия даже прямо сейчас, например в ЦАР или Сирии. Наверное, тебе стоит примкнуть к россиянам на украинской земле? Разве нет?

Another GREAT piece, really is stunning, so much patience and work, thanks for sharing the creation with us. When you put the stencil on the centre piece, before you grabbed it, I thought to myself, "better pull up a chair/stool that's going to take a while" and then you did :-) Really love the entire piece, but have to say, how you captured the centre portion/seeded area is amazing. Wish you all the best with the auction, every little bit anyone can donate will help with this very bad situation.

Love the texturing in the middle. Reminds me a bit of a tool called "Baren" which is used in wood block printing

I am late to the game on this one, but as I watched you make this piece, as with all of your others you poured your soul into it.
