This is typically the second project for my junior students. It incorporates very little material and costs are "cheap" but still teaches how to layout, cut, drill, grind, weld, think, and apply some sort of finish to the project.

There are faster and different ways to build these projects but all the "extra" steps are meant to build skills for younger students so they can progress and develop. We all learn and process information differently. This is just the way that I approach things.
